A quick update.
I haven't spent anything in the last 7 days, however, both hubby and I have dentist check-up appointments tomorrow which will cost just short of £40 in total, so this month I will have overspent by £180 (accountant and dentist) which was not budgeted for.
I have just checked my bank and think I will still be out of my o/d on 6/2 fingers crossed. Edit: just checked again, and I won't be out of o/d lol in fact, it will probably increase fgs! (I don't know why i forgot about my dd's eejit!
Have checked hubby's account and if we are lucky his o/d may come down by £80.
Next month is step-daughters birthday and we have decided that we are going to give her the £25 M&S gift card we got for Xmas so at least we won't be spending anything from our budget on her.
I feel a bit bleugggh cos this debt isn't disappearing as quick as I'd like! The months are moving so slowly!

So today I checked hubby's bank account (he finally gave me access) and I found out he paid £94 in o/d charges this month  and also hadn't cancelled the dd (£36) to the lottery

We had a 'chat' and the lottery is now cancelled.
As u know, I booked a cruise in 2018 for his retirement gift, however, I have just asked him whether he would rather have his bank account cleared for his retirement gift.... And he gave me the correct answer! :rotfl:
So I have cancelled the cruise (lost the deposit
) and transferred money allocated to it, to his o/d and a little bit to mine.
My o/d should be cleared this month and we have projected that his will be clear in 8 months.
If you haven't guessed, my hubby lives in cloud cuckoo land, and it seems my job is to keep his feet on the ground

Sounds like things are going in the right direction, if a bit slowly. Really hope you can book a new cruise on the near future.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉0

Update:
So, you know how I said I wasn't going to spend any money until 6/2/17? Well.....
I bought hubbys bday presents.... I bought him a £25 giftcard at zeek which also had an mse code which took £10 off plus zeek had taken off 8% too so, in the end, the giftcard cost me £13....
I also bought him a clarins mini set (found through grab it thread) so he has something to unwrap! it cost £5 and I got three clarins freebies with it! So a total of £18 for hubbys bday! And three items for moi!
I have also been sharing budgeting advice with my sis who seems ever so grateful....phew! If anyone knows of a good place to find cheap meals for 4, let me know! Basically 4 adults as the kids are 18 and 15!
I have been entering lots of competitions and completing some surveys.
Literally cannot wait until 6/2/17. We have plenty of food in the house but stocks are dwindling which makes me antsy!
