  • On another note - WE got an allotment today - just a little one. 14.5 ' x 33'. Still on the list for a full size one but its a start....................

Not been used for a while so we are going to have to spray it and then wait for it to rain to be able to dig as the ground is so hard. Then I can start planting - just bought my seeds from here - https://www.realseeds.co.uk - and if I do it right I can save the seeds from the plants for next year so I dont' ahve ot buy them. None of them are hybrids so the seeds from them are usable.

Cheaper next year for veggies and more exercise as well! (its too late to plant anything once we get it dug out.)

I've really fallen off the wagon today but it is my birthday so it's allowed:j
I'll not list what I've had but let's just say it involved cake, pudding and will include chocolate Ooops!:o
Never mind, next weeks menus are planned, I will go to the gym in my lunchhour and will use the stairs instead of the lift all day at work ;) .....Promise!

    Happy birthday Rockie!:bdaycake:

I also have a confession to make - I had a portion of HM damson crumble and ice cream at work for pud today:eek: but it was 'lite' ice cream so that makes it ok!:D
I really struggle at work as there's so much temptation that I dont have at home - I work in a small residential home and we always have biscuits, cake and crisps in the cupboard as well as lots of home made puds, its really hard to keep to the diet there! but I must be strong!;)

breakfast wholemeal toast(small loaf) 2 slices with low sugar marmalade

    snack - small banana

lunch -roast pork, loads of veggies 3 tiny new spuds followed by Hm damson crumble and low fat ice cream!

dinner - tinned spaghetti on toast(small wholemeal again)

snack - low fat yoghurt probably!
hope you've all had a good day!

    Hi there everyone

Debtfreehopeful...its no use to you at the moment.... but i swear by sugarfree jellies with a bit of tinned fruit in the bottom... i make em in individual dishes as it feels more special than dolloping it out of a big dish... add a couple of spoons of fruit yogurt on top - and it makes a decent replacement for triffle :D .. i make 2 up at a time and always have some in the fridge.... really low in cals, but satisfies that sweet tooth....

Happy birthday Rockie :T ..you haven't fallen off the wagon, you mearly stopped off on your birthday trip ;)

Taplady..oooohhh hot crumble with ice cream mmmmm i love the hot n cold together... at least you only had 1 serving... much better than having it in the fridge at home.... has anyone noticed that food can "call to you" from the kitchen..... obviously only us ladies hear it...:rotfl:

    Odds-n-sods

Well done on the lotty...i was top of the list at home..then hubby got posted out here...so next summer i will be planting in pots again..have heaps of seeds (got em ready for the lotty...) but im on the look out for varieties they have here but not at home... if you ever fancy a seed swap let me know.... they always put so many in a packet...and i use seeds from the tomatoes etc i grow....
Until next year we can both sit and plan what we are going to grow.... well its mental exercise if nothing else:rotfl:

    Hi guys , it's me ..................

Debtfreehopeful if you want something sweet try jelly like MrsM or fruit lollies like odds.:rotfl:

Recovering spendaholic ~ problem sorted , you've got us now xxxxx Yes , we all have alot of weight to shift , but so what ? It's shifting! We are doing it together:T
We are all behind you 100% aren't we guys? Say "yes Frogga"! It must be terrifing having that problem but it will soon be sorted, this time next year it will all be a distant memory. Are you anywhere near Ipswich? I'll always help if I can you know, anytime ~ I have my first aid badge from the Brownies xxx

I had to go to hospital once and that WAS because of my food problem. It was along time ago now ~ The day started with a huge Breakfast and I went on and on eating ALL DAY. I had friends round for lunch , 3 courses , and I had picked all morning. In the afternoon I had cake and then I cooked the tadpoles tea and finished the leftovers. Then I had a curry and chips for my tea and a WHOLE cheesecake , it was at this point that I started to feel a little bit sick:rotfl: :rotfl: But I though it was a good idea to keep on eating , so I had some more cake and then some sweets.............. and then I had the most HORREDDOUS pain in my belly. I thought I was going to die! I thought it would go away , but it didn't . I was in absolute agony and Mr Frog wasn't due home for about an hour. I had to phone my sister to come and watch the tadpoles and my Mum took me to A&E. All the way there I though I was going to pass out. My Mum kept sayin " what could have happened?" and I said "I don't know?":rotfl:
When we arrived they asked me if I thought I could be pregnant as it might be eptopic, or an apendicitus or poisoning , I thought " oh God, please let it be anything other than I've eaten too much!" I had to tell the truth and I had my stomach pumped!!!:o I know it's auful isn't it? As I lay there on the bed I really had a talk to myself. I thought " this HAS to stop, it's ridiculous , no more as of right now I am NEVER going to binge again! ~ oh, but there's that garlic bread in the fridge , ok I'll go home and finish that and then I'll definitly start in the morning!":rotfl:

I had infact split the lining of my stomach and where the tube goes into it came away! I wasn't allowed to eat for days and had to drink this horrid pink liquid stuff ~ yuck! That'll teach me!

Now going to brush my teeth and then that's me for the day , night guys xxxx

  • I have ot say I've never binged that much!

Debtfree - if you want something choccie - try a hot chocolate - 1 tsp sugar with 1 tbsp cocoa mixed with a little milk into a paste, then pour warmed milk on top.

I hear that little voice a lot, especially when there's some chocolate in the house!:D its a real battle of wills as to who wins - me or the voice!:D

  • I made an apple crumble last night and tbh I think cos I know there's something 'nice' to eat later on, I haven't had anything sweet all day long. We went to John Lewis and normally I'd treat myself to a cake and coffee as we only go every couple of months but today, I though, no I'm having crumble later, so I didn't. Maybe that's the key? If I deprive myself of all 'nice' food I binge on it. Hmmm, don't know but it's a fun experiment :D
