E.ON Fixed 1 Year £75 Reward

  • The Fixed 1 Year £75 and £100 Reward tariffs are being offered to selected customers who are coming to the end of Fixed 1 Year versions 18 and 19. The offer is exclusively by email to dual fuel customers only. The £75 Reward version is to customers who have been with us for 13 months to 2 years and the £100 version is for those who’ve been with us for up to 12 months.

Im coming to the end of my fixed 1 year V19 dual fuel and will have been with you 14 months, yet I have only got the standard V21 email with no reward. Any reason for this?

I can't say that a voucher would keep me, but it would have made it seem slightly more appealing to stay considering the ludicrous change in tariff pricing.

I am also coming to the end of the V19 (January 17th). My bill is also set to rise by £300 a year. I called EON to speak to them about this and they cannot offer me anything at all and I was told to go ahead and vote with my feet.
I've been with EON almost 10 years, enjoy the ease of online account management etc and am reluctant to move. Its far too much a price increase to ignore though. Will there be no other tariffs offered soon does anyone know?

Hello Sgib and welcome to the Forums.

Depends when your version 19 tariff ends. This tariff was available for sale between 22 January 16 and 9 February 16. Emails are sent to eligible customers 2 days after their renewal letter. These go out between 42 and 49 calendar days before a fixed tariff ends. Customers switching to version 19 during the latter part of its availability won't have reached this point yet. Have you received a renewal letter?

Also, customers need to give us permission to contact them by email. Emails won't be sent where this permission hasn't been given.

    Hope this explains Sgib.

    What a joke!

Once again the loyal customers who have been with them the longest
    lose out.

You could not make it up!

    Hi Malc

I've received a renewal email titled "it's time to choose a new tariff" my v19 tariff ends on the 25th of Jan. No mention of this offer though?

The title of your email should be "it's time to use a comparison site, get yourself some cashback and leave us, as we no longer have any competitive tariffs available"

How about a fixed 2 year tariff? (as promoted by :money:)
Fred - Where's your get up and go?

Barney - It just got up and went.

    Hello timeou.

At the moment, we've only the two tariffs generally available and these are on our website. As per my previous posts, we're currently carrying out a product review and are trialling new tariffs and the ways we offer them. You might have seen my post above about new Reward Tariffs (#12) which we've released recently as part of this trial. From what you've said, I suspect you aren't eligible for these as they're only available to customers who've been with us for up to 2 years.

The review is ongoing and I expect other variations in the coming months. Totally appreciate, this isn't much use to you at this particular time.

Not been an eon customer for years now, and it doesn't look like it will happen any time soon!

They have never even been on the first page on comparison sites.

As for recommended by ml-thumb-spin2.gif we go with the supplier that is best for us, not best for Moneysupermarket!
