On-grid domestic battery storage

Since yesterday my luxpower inverter seems to be not working right and it doesn’t seem to register my grid activity ? How can I “reset” everything and “reboot” also i moved the batteries about 6 inches and lost connection with the inverter (it says it in the log) but that was because I unplugged the Ethernet connector while i was moving and then plugged it back in but surely that wouldn’t stop all my grid information ?

When this happens to me I turn off the grid and all the batteries. If you have the hybrid there is also a DC switch on the bottom
Wait a couple of minutes for grid to catch up and inverter to lose residual power.
grid on
dc switch on
batteries on (my uboet need all slaves on before master battery and I sometimes need to wait about 2 mins before putting master on or it needs switched off again and back on.5KW solar, Lux 3.8KW inverter, Uhome 2400 LPF x 6, SOLIC 200 immerser diverter, Leaf 62Kwh, Skoda Enyaq 85, Ohme home charger, Zappi v2.1, Eddi, Import: Octopus intelligent ; Export: Octopus Energy Export, 15KW biomass pellet boiler - Windhager., Home Assistant0 -
Have you bumped the WiFi dongle?

Apparently, we should be able to see the soh of each Pylontech in the stack with a serial cable plugged into the console port of the master battery.
I can get the overall soh of the stack by sending the command "pwrsys" but can't for the life of me find a way to get soh for each battery.
Can't see this in the Batteryview app either.
Anyone figured this out yet ?Scott in Fife, 2.9kwp pv SSW facing, 2.7kw Fronius inverter installed Jan 2012 - 14.3kwh Seplos Mason battery storage with Lux ac controller - Renault Zoe 40kwh, Corsa-e 50kwh, Zappi EV charger and Octopus Go0 -
Ok for some reason I only have one big switch that is my Grid one, i have batteries obviously but they are connected directly into my luxpower inverter (I’m thinking my solar installer should have connected a switch in that line but didnt ? ) anyway I guess i can discount the long inverter to battery cables and then switch off the grid at the switch and then that should at least power the inverter down and see if that resolves the issue ? I checked the Wi-Fi dongle and as im able to still get a response from it then its working.newbuilder said:When this happens to me I turn off the grid and all the batteries. do you have a rotary switch under your inverter. This will kill the solar and battery link. This is your second big switch5KW solar, Lux 3.8KW inverter, Uhome 2400 LPF x 6, SOLIC 200 immerser diverter, Leaf 62Kwh, Skoda Enyaq 85, Ohme home charger, Zappi v2.1, Eddi, Import: Octopus intelligent ; Export: Octopus Energy Export, 15KW biomass pellet boiler - Windhager., Home Assistant0

Just a thought but from that screenshot, your pv is covering your house consumption exactly so there won't be battery or grid activity.Starfrog said:Since yesterday my luxpower inverter seems to be not working right and it doesn’t seem to register my grid activity ? I only have one big switch I am going back to my solar company to ask why that wasn’t done if i should have a switch. I only have one rotary switch and that is the grid one as far as im aware. I will take a picture of the setup later as it sits on my wall in the garage. Im switching out my aoboets for a new set of Pylontech batteries and thats the reason i just moved the batteries out the way in preparation for the new set. Yes but it seems to be coincidence that it’s going up and down and covering it exactly all the time right now …. Its just not rightEVandPV said:
