And in this case someone has been in my opinion. Since most discrimination is subjective you cant really judge. An individual's reaction is subjective depending upon their bias and experiences. If I were raised to think that the word 'she' referring to any woman was a derogatory term, I could claim every English speaking person other than me to be sexist. This does not mean the term or action is generally accepted as sexist. Overwhelming public contention would cause me to question it.
Features? What white with an accent? * Eastern European accent
So it was a positive aspect of the description? Does everything have to be either positive or negative? Can nothing be neutral or every colour between black and white?
In your opinion. - In her own words
I'm not sure where the reference to the police stems from, but this served as an interesting discussion while waiting for the train. And aliens told me to do it. :AStarted 07/15. Car finance £6951 , Mortgage: 261k - Savings: £0! Home improvements are expensive0 -
hi,
I do some maintenance work for a few hours the start time is 6am. Where i work is not too far away so i always walk. I do not have a car. Half the time i get a lift to work but now my colleague has left (no one else can pick me up) i'm stuck walking down a road that is lite up with houses, but is next to woodland on the otherside. Sometimes there are lots of cars going down the road, sometimes not.
I have been doing this job for months, but recently i just don't feel safe, i 'm thinking of leaving, do you think this is a good reason to leave a job you enjoy?
If you can't afford a car I would suggest getting a bike. If you feel unsafe walking there then you shouldn't do it at all and stop at once.0
