Update form completed for my final regular saver contribution of £250. I'm waiting for the money to be moved so that I can redistribute accordingly before I set up new accounts. Just a heads up that I may skip February for long term savings, my car insurance and MOT are due in the next few weeks and I've had a tight few months recently. I'd quite like to have this one month where I can properly kick back and relax (financially speaking)!£12k in 2019 #084 £3000/£3000

Managed to save £800 #132 for January, really wasn't expecting that. Someone came and paid me a few hundred they owed, that I had more or less written off. Nice surprise and faith in human nature restored.0

I've managed £815 this month....have updated the spreadsheet. Have a feeling next month won't be as successful as I'm on holiday but will try my best...0

#10 stopping by to report £1000 for January.
Ive kept some savings unreported to put towards an upcoming holiday, but feel like this method is going to over complicate things and it'd be easier to lump it all together and have small/negative savings months when I pay out.
How do you all do it?
Duckyduck I only declare what I've actually saved, if I borrow out of savings at any point if I haven't paid it back by the end of the month then I will declare £0 savings, I like to keep things simpleMFiT-T7 #17 (Jan 2025) £193k (Apr) £177k (July) £

Ducky Duck I actually do the same as you with one of my regular savers, I simply don't add it to my total and use it to take the sting out of Christmas! Anything left over gets added to December's total12K in 2017 No.029: £7154.37/ 18,000 (40%)

Hmm I'm wondering if I'll have to change my target for this year, but I'll see later in the year. Basically, I'd assumed a bonus payment of between 5-7k, unfortunately, it doesn't look like we'll get one at all this year, + some save for shares profits that could've gone into the savings pot (although that doesn't seem like a likely outcome either)...
So, I've got 700 in savings for Jan to report on. And I'll have to squeeze things a bit in the next few months if I want to hit 15k or even just 12k!#115 - Save £12k in 2019 challenge: £13152.85/29419.55 - 44%
