Morning all. Sitting waiting for manager of MIL's potential new flat to ring, hoping they will let us have a look in it today as both Mr N and I are off. In the meantime:
- 1 load through DW, put away
- 1 load washing done, hung out
- lots of cards addressed and stamped
- Mr N took MIL to collect new glasses
- bird feeders refilled.
Perhaps if I continue doing a report the phone will ring!Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
So very sorry to read your news Valli I will be thinking of you at this sad time.
Still dealing with mums paperwork just trying to keep it all in one place.
Thanks for the list have put washing out -it froze on line but sun now out so going out with dog for a nice walk.
Must vac floor when I get back dust bunnies everywhere!
Hugs

All of the laundry is now up to date, the house has been vacuumed and I can see the floors again in the childrens rooms
A lot of money bits and pieces reviewed online. Things have been so tight due to the dreaded non-payment, and will continue to be so until we get the money. In the meantime thank goodness for this site - good old-fashioned budgeting, meal planning and my spending diary will get us through.
I am having ten minutes peace before heading into the village to go to the post office and butchers, then school & pre-school runs. Hope you're all having lovely days xxMFW

If anyone has read my debt free diary they will see I got off to a fabulous start today, I had dry washing folded and upstairs and the washing machine on another spin.
However the washing machine has decided to give up the good fight and I now have a laundry basket full of soaked half washed stuff. I can't get the machine out right now as my back hurts so that will just have to wait.
Right now I'm hiding from my charming cats who have just attacked me (they wanted to play, I did not) and covered me in sore little scratches. I'm giving myself an hour to be a mardy !!!, then it's time to pull myself up by my socks and get back to work. Hopefully you're all having a better day than me!No more making the same mistakes!

Did you ever find out what the odd noise was? It can be quite alarming can't it? Although my animals are always making odd noises so I'm mostly used to it now haha.
The cats are singing and thumping while the rabbit attempts to take a nap after a brief run round. No more making the same mistakes!

Sorry I"m a bit late but thanks for the list Natty.
Valli so sorry to hear of your loss, sending a gentle hug to you
Dancemum hopefully if you speak to a GP they'll be able to sort out an urgent appointment for you - you don't want to be waiting til 4th Jan.
NotNormal naughty little cats giving you scratches! I'm currently sporting 2 from Whiz Whippet where he was a bit over exuberant!
ATB sounds like you are doing a grand job keeping the finances in check. DH has been unemployed since May and we're waiting to see if he has an interview for a job in Wales - should hear this week (I hope).
Narco you always seem to be doing reports - is it always busy like this for you?
I've done a few bits from the kitchen list for today. Going to put S to bed imminently then get some more sewing done - I want to finish off a purple cord dungaree dress for myself. Then doing a polo neck on the overlocker .... should be fun!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0
