My daughter & partner have been extremely sick following a meal out on Monday at the Trafford Centre.
I have e mailed the restaurant & they are investigating they say through a 3rd party.
Unsure of any rights or where else I should report to to ensure no one else experiences the same?
Are you 100% sure it is this restaurant?
E.g. You have had stool samples analysed, or it is the only place and food you have eaten within 48 hours?
Food poisoning can take upto 48 hours to show symptoms, so unless that was the only food consumed within that time period, it would be impossible to say where it came from.
An airborne stomach bug but can be contageous and cause vomiting and diarrhoea within just hours too, so have you ruled this out?Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

You're right I'm sorry. I have no idea IF you think, much less what you think. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
They are not 2 random people trying to trash a restaurant. Both were very poorly for 72 hours and both ate the same food at the restaurant and no one else in the family has been ill.
Got to say there are some really daft comments on here including from some with many thanks attributed to them.0 -

It can take months to show symptoms - it all depends on what has caused the poisoning. As a general rule, the more violent the bacteria/parasite/whatever, the quicker the onset of symptoms (and also the quicker its out of your system too).
Salmonella has an incubation period of 12-72 hours. Campylobacter is 2-5 days. Listeria is several days to several weeks. Ecoli is 1-8 days. Novovirus is 24-48 hours. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
