    If you go about saying they gave food poisoning, which for an eatery is a very serious allegation you may find you get a letter from their solicitor. You need proof, which would involve samples being analysed.

    Have they said which restaurant gave them food poisoning? I may have missed it but I didn't say anything that said what premises they are accusing.

    I don't think you'll get a letter from a solicitor for reporting to a restaurant that you believe they gave you food poisoning.
