Looking at Plusnet's Terms and Conditions it states:

Prices, content and terms may change at any time during your contract. We'll tell you about important changes in advance, and if a change is detrimental you'll be able to end your contract without any fees.

So it would appear they don't apply RPI to their contracts-yet.

  • @cookie365 it's on the page linked to from the MSE mobile phone advice page.
  • I gave a porting request to Plusnet on Monday to port my number from ID. Tuesday the number stops working on ID. Today (Wednesday) the number is not working on any provider, so I give Plusnet customer services a call. They tell me that it will be working on Plusnet tomorrow of Friday, so up to 4 days without being able to receive any calls on my number.

    Not happy.

Apart from a few initial issues regarding porting my switch to Plusnet from EE has gone fairly smoothly.

One obvious downside is the 4G download speed is half that of what I enjoyed with EE. 27mps instead of 55mps but I can live with that.

My biggest gripe is the online account management facility.

I have two Plusnet mobile accounts but the system only allows me to set up online management for one only. I rang CS who tried to get the other account set up for online management and the chap dealing with my query had to admit defeat and told me that I would have to go through CS if I needed any info on the other account i.e. data usage, text and voice call details and all the other stuff you should be able to access online.

Come on Plusnet, it's not rocket science. EE was able to provide access to both my numbers details all under one account.

Oh I did ask if they would eventually morph the online management of both my numbers under one account only to be told, "I don't know".

Finally, the functionality of the online account management facility is very limited and needs some improvement if it's ever going to be user friendly.
