Plusnet
Hi. All I am new to the forum. I have been looking at the new Plusnet sim only deals and they seem to offer good value. I am on EE at the moment and also on a sim only deal. The package that Plusnet are offering gives me more of everything and they also use the EE network I would appreciate any thoughts you may have and whether or not it would be a good move. Thanks in anticipation.:)

Thing is Plusnet have only just started a mobile service, so there will not be many / any who have more than a month to go onNumerus non sum0

Thanks for the reply. I don't think that I will have a lot to lose as its only a rolling monthly contract and I could always cancel and look around at what else is available. What do you think?0

Looks like a good deal to me. Sim ordered0

As you say, they are only 30day contracts.
There is also virgin who use EE network, but are more expensive than plusnet.
Ask EE for your PAC to transfer your number over.0 -
EE has just offered me a much better package to stay 4gb data unlimited minutes and texts for the same price... Result0

Make sure the price includes VAT, I once had a provider offer to match a deal but then neglected to tell me it was excluding VAT.0

With their 30 day rolling contract they are probably looking to poach short contract customers or those whose contracts are coming to an end. But just because they are an EE MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) doesn't mean you'll get the same service as directly on EE. Typically, a mobile network's own customers get priority over an MVNO.
I recently moved to Plusnet and took up an O2 12 months contract just before I arrived at Plusnet. But I don't regret going with O2: 10GB/unlimited/unlimited with a signal of 3 bars inside/ max bars outside for 18 quid a month does me. I'll be keeping an eye on Plusnet Mobile reviews over the next 11 months though.0 -
Unless you are on a business tariff (or they had some other valid reason to think you are business customer) complain.TadleyBaggie wrote: »Make sure the price includes VAT, I once had a provider offer to match a deal but then neglected to tell me it was excluding VAT.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Be careful, they have a history of offering the earth on the phone, then at the end of the month when the bill arrives, its more like bingo, just a page of random numbers...EE has just offered me a much better package to stay 4gb data unlimited minutes and texts for the same price... Result0 -
30 day rolling contracts are quite common. Sometimes the 12 month ones are better value.
£18 is fine if you use all that data? But I prefer paying ~ £100
