I regularly see an orange coloured Morris Marina on my way to work in Sheffield.

It's a bit of a shed but obviously still going strong :)

My word..... what a dull and boring way to live life :D

I can assure you, having owned a Marina, there are worse cars out there! My current Ford CMax is far more dull and boring for a start.

Not at all. Morris Marinas were a daily entertainment. You never knew what they would get up to next, whether they would even start in the morning, what hidden bit of bodywork would corrode before the next MOT. Believe me, there was never a dull moment with a Morris Marina. Every outing was an exciting adventure into the unknown.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

I saw an F reg Renault 5 in Oxford today, I see a K reg Peugot 405 automatic every day, I quite often see an L reg poo brown Triumph Stag and up til a couple of months ago I used to regularly see a W reg TR7 convertible, it was a complete shed but obviously in daily use, also one I used to see daily until quite recently was a G reg Peugeot 205GRD.
I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world

So basically all bad things then :D ?
  • I saw an Alfasud on the A158 outside Lincoln about a week ago. Looked like it might have been early 1980s, I didn't pay much more attention than that because I was still thinking "My God! An Alfasud that still works!"
Signature on hold as I've seen no unused witty comments to plaigarise.

My brother is still driving around in my old R reg 406 diesel estate, I sold it to him a year ago and it has been up to Scotland several times during that time and is in daily use.

The last MOT I put it through, it cost £10 for something really minor and the actual MOT cost, cost my brother £25 plus the MOT fee this year.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
  • BMW E30s seem to wear well, theres a G reg one recently joined my daily commute route.
Of the 20 to 15 year old bangermomic category, there's an unbelievable number of Xsara Picassos still chugging round on the road.

I was behind an H reg Ford Granada this afternoon, it still looked in pretty good shape, considering.
