No a fan of the A class, B class or the CLA/GLA. They are all based on the FWD A class chassis and are all essentially overpriced tarted up eco-boxes. I once had a B class diesel auto AMG trim as a hire car for a few days. It was decent and the interior was also okay but for the price I don't think it's worth it. It doesn't compare to the C or E class obviously but for the price you get a lot more car for the money with the latter two.
The amg one is all wheel drive. The proper amg one, not the trim level.0 -
BeenThroughItAll has apparently owned all these fancy upmarket cars including the BMW M3. He is currently driving a BMW 330Ci, which has a rather thirsty yet powerful 3 litre inline six cylinder engine. If you think I'm a BMW snob, you should check him out.
If having owned six BMWs makes me a 'BMW snob', then I am also a Skoda, Volvo, Fiat, and Rover snob. When you've *actually* owned over 90 cars (real ones, not on Xbox), you'll find you'll probably have had more than one of a number of different makes.
Nice work, DM.0 -
I have a Leon FR. Before it I had a Focus (but not an ST). The FR is a much better car in terms of comfort, drive and economy. I'd certainly consider another. My only gripe is the SATNAV which is slow to respond and unhelpful in operation.
we are all different
My wife has a leon FR, I have a focus titanium. the Focus is way more comfortable than the FR as it has softer suspension and smaller wheels.
the FR we have is on 18inch wheels with hard suspension
The FR is more fun to drive but on 30000 miles a year (which I do) i wouldnt have either of the sport choices0 -
Apparently the Leon is getting a face-lift in January so I may see if I can wait for that.Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0
