Seat Leon FR or Ford Focus ST3

I need a new company car and trying to decide which one

Fancy a change from bigger cars (currently a Passat) so looking at these two. I can't really see much in it.
Does either one have something that would make it a 'no brainer' choice that I've missed?
Or should I just flip a coin?
They both drive quite nicely (had to try an ST2 Focus though)

I currently do 30-40K p/a so comfort is a big driver for me.
I don't pay anything towards it and don't use it privately so BIK value etc. is irrelevant

Must have:
2.0L (ish) Diesel
5 doors
no rag tops etc.

I want:
Auto
DAB
Cruise
Sat-Nav
Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

If you want comfort neither are good choices, but if it is between the two, I'd suspect the Seat FR to be more comfortable than the Ford ST3

    Have you actually driven either?

I've only driven the Ford and didn't find it uncomfortable.

Driven both for about 100 miles, they were OK for me

Comfort is subjective, but common sense tells me anyone doing significant mileage in a company car is perhaps better off avoiding the lower, stiffer, bigger alloys that both the FR and ST3 have.

No I haven't. But I don't actually need to drive both to tell me that their standard non-sport versions are more comfortable.

And as I said, I don't find the ST Ford uncomfortable.

Either way, a BMW 340i is far superior in practically everyway.
....and nearly as good as a Skoda Octavia vRS which on top of everything else also comes with fully functioning indicators.

Oh !!!!!! this is getting boring now - what experience have you got (other than Gran Turismo) of driving a 340i vs the other two (and since when was a 340i either diesel or likely to come in around the price of an ST3 Focus

The Alfa - maybe but there isn't a dealer for miles
The BMW & Volvo lack the equipment at the allowance I have but are nice

    Cheers

I have £430/month 100k miles over 3 years, 9p mile maximum excess mileage charge

The Leon and ST3 are pretty much on the limit

The Mini is a bit small and I don't particularly like them
