Right then Suggs, if you bought the smaller size -then I'm just going to have to return the skirt and buy the smaller one ;)

Bought 3 packs of porridge yesterday so am now committed to diet breakfast for the next 4 weeks or so (just don't mention the word flapjack  )

Deal, just check the slippage of said skirt first :)

I normally eat porriage for breakfast 5 or 6 times a week, I make it with water in the mircowave, sometimes I add a touch of skimmed milk epends if I get the mixture of porridge and water right :)

My box is looking very buff now thanks Suggs. EDIT I did add some more smut to this but thought better of it and deleted it. I don't want all the rest of the members of the thread to stop talking to me.

Glad your box is nice and buff KPC, I know how hard it can be to keep a box in good shape. I tried waxing and buffing my chest a while ago, must of used too much wax though, still bits of wax there :) I wont mention the smut, as been a naive chap I wouldn't understand :p

I make mine with water in the microwave (or with rice milk). But much prefer it if you add the water, some raisins, mixed spice (or cinnamon), zap it and then drizzle a little honey on!

This week I have been having it with frozen cherries mixed in (but still needing honey or sugar - trying to cut it down). Will try the suggestion of making it with apple juice though as hopefully that will cure the need for sugar ;)

Newlywed, you can buy soyamilk with applejuice in it and I use that to make porrige with when I go through a porrige phase. (Am I the only person on this planet who is hungry half an hour after porrige though? I don't find it sustaining at all. Only a protin based breakfast keeps me going.)

Tried on a pair of trousers I haven't got into for 3 years this morning. Notonly could I do them up, I didn't look like a Vietnamese pot belly pig in them.:D Result:j

Victory. One way to not think about food prep all the time is to plan a 2 week menu. A lot of work to start with but once it is done, all the thinking is sorted. You then shop for just what you need and check your list the night before and take anything out of the freezer you need. You can still be flexible is your time table changes and swop one meal for another but with all the menus you have been trying recently, you must have 2 weeks worth of good quality, low cal stuff that both you and the family enjoy?

Good luck Dragon with the move. You are quite right, it is a tough time trying to lose weight and move house at the same time. Once the dust has settled you can focus with xmas as you target and hopefully you'll see progress

welcome back rachelmk. Well done for comig through it all relatively unscathed and a lot happier. I am sure you are going to get that excess off now.
We seem to be getting near enough for Xmas to be a target focal point for some folks now. I know in my head I want to lose another 1/2 stone by then.
Your menu looks healthy to me raphael.:T

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Hello again - long time no see!:j

So just wanted to say hello again and well done to all of those that have done so well in my absence, especially Suggs and Victory. I haven't had a chance to read much of the thread again yet but will try to catch up.

    It's fab to be back.....

Welcome back Rachel, glad to have you back and happy things have worked out in the end, hopefully for the better. Watch out for Ajax, his a tricky one, :rotfl:

Enjoy your day out tomorrow, perhaps you should have started today, enjoyed tomorrow and joined the Day 1 club on Sunday ;)
