One Credit Card = One Bill a Month Better ?

I have multiple Credit cards, all with Various Benefits etc. But is it better just to use one card for everything and therefore have only one bill each month ?. It would keep my accounts simpler, but are there advantages to using multiple cards per month each with their own benefits, or just sticking to one card with the best benefits and use that ?.

I should point out that any card I do use is paid in full each month by DD, so I never carry a balance over.

Regardless of which cards are used, if you pay off in full by DD then you are still putting the total spend in your bank account ready for the collection of the DD. Whether this goes out via one DD or multiple shouldn't be a problem.

I would opt for the best benefit for the transaction. ;)

  • If you know how to set up more than one DD, then obviously multiple cards with different benefits are better.

If payments confuse you however, then a single card, or just use cash.

I depends on your money management preferences.

Now that rewards as drying up on non-Amex cards, I am using my debit card more than I used to.
