That training sounds excellent - what a lovely thing to be able to do to support those in need.
Are you able to let your nurse how you feel regarding lack of support at times? She may be able to suggest a second point of call if you're unable to get hold of her? Everyone should have someone to turn to when they need extra support.
That swiss ball class sounds interesting! Something a bit different

Jojo, if I'm ever in the need of extra support I have a contact number for the local crisis team but I try to avoid them due to bad experiences in the past. My nurse came to visit me yesterday and we had a catch up and completed some forms in together, I've to finish them off later today and hopefully send them. I need to think carefully what I put on these and to photocopy each form I send.
Today is payday here, the first time in a number of months that I've received a decent wage- still lower then usual due to tax code but at least I've a decent budget to play around with.
My car service is due in April. I'm currently debating where to get it serviced. It's two years old and a vauxhall.. some of the servicing prices are extortionate and make my eyes water
. So I've money put aside for that. My car tax is due beginning of August and insurance is beginning of September. So over the next few months I'll need to put money aside for them, I do have savings which will cover them though if worst comes to worst.
I've been thinking once I've paid off my debts I'm going to start building up a fund for the boy for when he is older. I usually put odds and sods in his account whenever possible but not enough as I'd like if that makes sense?
Anyway, this morning I have a one to one CBT meeting and then I'll spend the rest of my time concentrating on paperwork.
I hope everyone has a nice day.Chandelier.

That's good - I'm glad you have somewhere to turn to if it comes to it, but it's a shame you've had bad experiences with them.
Im another who'd like to put more away for the kids - they have bank accounts with not very much in them but once we are in a better financial situation, I'll set up standing orders again to save for them.
Enjoy the feeling of a decent wage, even if it is all allocated, I know how much not earning was getting you down. Have a lovely day.CC1: £4481.14/ £5031.14 (12% paid off, £600) | CC2:£3307/ £3807 (14.4% paid off, £550) | Loan: £10,528.20/ £15,792.30((33% paid off, £5,264))

Morning..
So yesterday started off well but didn't end too well. I attended the CBT group but as soon as I got home I was wiped out totally.. I thought it was due to information overload but then the headache started and ear pain. Cue a trip to local walk in centre then turned away and advised to go to out of hours.. Turns out I have yet another ear infection. It's the same ear as previous ear infections which are always hard to shift. So I'm deaf and in pain. I've probably managed around 6 hours sleep in total and I'm on a long day today (13.5 hours). Oh the joy, at least I have medication to help and I couldn't fault the out of hours service. They were quick and efficient.
I had a couple of small spends yesterday, not exactly required but spent none the less. I'll be keeping a tighter belt on April spends. Oh and I filled up the car with petrol to see me through the next week or two. I want to try and minimise using car as much as possible and try walk more now the weather is better and the nights are lighter.
I've already managed to make packed lunches for the day ahead, both mine and the boys. I just need to add a few extra snack type foods for myself.
Aside from that not much else to say.. Oh my topcashback has £80 payable woohoo! I'm going to put that towards car servicing

Hope you feel better soon and well done on the cashback!! Need to start using that more often myself.0

Hope you manage to shift that ear infection soon - I don't envy you having to get through a 13.5 hour shift with pain and deafness. I hope it goes quickly for you!
Wow, that cashback amount is great! I just made two purchases yesterday for my friend's 30th without even thinking about TCB! I'm usually really good about remembering but I was in a rush on my lunch break to get it all ordered.
Well done on the packed lunch prepping - we've been really rubbish at this lately after a good month or so at being really strict with it. We'll need to get back into prepping ASAP.

Morning.
I can't believe it's the end of the week already. It's been another spendy few days here.
On Friday me and my mum went shopping and I bought some bits for the boy for our holiday next month. I think I spent around £42 and got alot for my money. I also went through all his wardrobe and sorted out enough stuff to take with us so I shouldn't need many more spends on him. I also bought some suncream and what not. I'll make a list at some point of what I still need to get.
Yesterday was the boys show. It went really well and he looked amazing along with his two little friends. In the day time we went swimming together and had a lovely time. However I ended up picking up a pair of swim goggles without checking prices and they set me back £14.00 oops. I just wanted to get in to swimming so quickly paid and scampered. Lesson learnt.
Last night ended up a rubbish night sleep. I only managed two and a half hours, most of this was due to someone from my past resurrecting and then arguing with me. The topic argued about was mental health and their disbelief in it and how people choose their own actions, behaviours and beliefs and that most of it isn't real. How they believe it compares to those with addictions. It touched a nerve and then I began to doubt myself and everything that's gone on the past six months.
I then started thinking about my medication and whether I should continue to take and all other crazy thoughts. In all reality that medication has been a life saver for me. Without the help and support I wouldn't be where I am today.
So I have a long day ahead of me at work today (13.5 hour shift) and another one tomorrow. I know I'm going to struggle today or the effects will show tomorrow. I don't want to continue being dampened by whatever happened during the night. I need to keep on being positive.
In other ways it's fuelled me more- eventually I'd like to do some charity work for mental health charities. And maybe look into/research it more, both for my own benefit and maybe that of others.
Anyhow, I hope everyone has a lovely day.Chandelier.

Morning, yet another Monday is here.. I can't believe how quick this year seems to be going.
Scott, I'm still on the same meds I've been for a while now. 500mg Quetiapine and 1000mg of Depakote. I'm quite happy and settled on this amount and I'm able to function well and alternate the time of my meds sometimes in order to fit in with my schedule and routine. I do get the fatigue still at times but only really after I've taken them which enables me to sleep. I know medication isn't for everyone and I don't believe that solely but for me it's been the only regime I've ever stuck to which has benefited me.
Anyhow yesterday was a busy day and I'm feeling the effects from it. I've yet another long day ahead of me and I'll be so glad when my head hits the pillow tonight. My ear infection seems to have cleared thank goodness but I've now started with my old surgical would opening slightly which is causing discomfort. If it's not one thing it's another. I've just whacked a dressing on it and will hope for the best.
80% of my direct debits are due to go out today so I'll have a clearer idea of my spends left for the month once I align my banking up which I'll do at some point. The only ones left will be the payments to credit cards which are due around mid month.. Does anyone know if I can change these dates to align with the first of the month like other direct debits? Or would this have to be done via standing order? Hmm it all confuses me.
I've not been to the gym in a while due to my schedule and routine. I'm hoping to go a couple of times this week in between everything else. I'm down to work Monday Weds and Friday but I may see about changing a day if possible to maybe a weekend day? Goodness knows or I may ride it out. It's been a nightmare for childcare as I'm doing 13.5 hour days. On the other hand I'm loving the team I'm in and settling really well.
Aside from that not much else to update.Chandelier.

Yeah I arranged all my DD's to come out the first of every month. I've only encountered 2 companies which couldn't; Netflix and my gym. Just give them a call and ask, makes budgeting much easier for the month ahead.0
