Best Piggybank accounts for budgeting

Options
Hi,
Can anyone help?
I recently dusted down a copy of Martin's Money Diet book. In the book as part of budgeting and planning he makes reference to setting up a series of piggy bank bank accounts for the regular big expenditure items e.g. Christmas, insurance, holidays.
I currently have two Santander Accounts and before they cut the rate was considering opening more with them. Does anyone know if these accounts offer the best in terms of interest, access and flexibility?
Many thanks
James
:)

It depends what you prefer. I have several current accounts/regular savers with different purposes for each one.

Others put multiple funds in one account and use a spreadsheet/app to divide it in categories.

Most of our expenses and direct debits come from a joint main account , with others used as savings interest gatherers, but we do use the TSB debit cards for the 5% cashback (mine and joint for shopping / husband's for petrol).

I would hate having separate accounts with varying functions.
