Malteaser Tray bake for those that asked! I warn you IT'S ADDCITIVE!! And not that cheap to make either, but very yummy!!
nicky - I made the malteaser tray bake last week for my birthday (meant to be on a diet so I needed a special occasion as a [strike]excuse[/strike] reason to try it!).
It was sooooooooooooooo nice!!! Loved the way the malteasers went all bald when I mixed them into the hot choc mixture!

Thanks for this thread! I've been off cooking for one reason and another but this has inspired me to get cracking again.
My 2 toddlers have probably forgotten that I used to bake nice things for them it's been so long! Apart from the bread in the Panny, which is hardly comparable to a malteser tray bake, though...!
Printing off recipes as I go along here...keep em coming!
Cheers

I've not made many treats other than fairy cakes before, but tomorrow I'm going to make Twinks Hobnobs (half plain, half chocolate coated) cheese straws and a mars bar crispy tray 'bake' (even though there is no baking involved!)the only debt left now is on credit cards! The evil loan has gone!! :j:j0

Lots of the above but also syrup toffee (although it comes out just like worthers original 'candy' )“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

Forgotten cookies from a BBC Good Food magazine recipe: basically just a meringue recipe with added pecan nuts and chocolate chips/chunks added - yum! Recipe here: http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/4401/forgotten-cookies Very easy to make but note the tip in the last comment."The happiest of people don't necessarily have the
best of everything; they just make the best
of everything that comes along their way."
