I was more hoping that given the kind of thing that the deeds do prevent, something like the sofa would fall in there somewhere!
....none of us here can read the deeds, so you'll have to help us out.......0 -
Personally I would speak to them and say something like this:
It looks like someone may have dumped an old sofa in your garden. Do you want a hand getting rid of it as i'm trying to sell my house and I don't want them to think people dump stuff around here. If you need any help just ask.
That way you are not blaming them but you are also making it clear that they are being chavs and need to stop0 -
See I'd go the opposite way:
If anyone mentions it, I'd say they're lovely but a bit eccentric.0 -
Who ya gonna call?
You could contact the MNTSS? (the mystery night time sofa shifters)...
£50 and no questions asked..?0 -

Or maybe:
My mate and I are taking some rubbish to the tip at the weekend - like us to take that old sofa?Gather ye rosebuds while ye may0 -
just out of curiosity, does the sofa not get wet when it rains?0

.............
In some circles, that counts as washing it clean.....0 -
You could stop being an a***hole trying to impose your way of life on other people?
Just a thought.0 -
It won't stay there for ever. Once it gets properly wet the frame will either warp or rot and then the whole thing will disappear. Just hope it doesn't reappear in the next street.0
