I bought another Fire Stick when they were £20 a couple of months or so back, if they don't reduce to the same during Black Friday check out Argos as I saw an ad on TV for them at £25 for Black Friday.

It's worth saying - there's no major benefit in the voice control. It only works in the 'main' application, and not in any others (even the amazon music app).

BUT - there is a new firestick due to come out, that has more power, and the voice control also works like an Amazon Alexa/Echo

Extra £10 off a spend for £25 + in argos through quidco today too, check the T&Cs though, as a friend tells me it excluded vat, so your total needs to be £30, and you need to pay online rather than just reserve.

Thank you for this. I was advised (on the techie page) to wait for the fire stick to be reduced this week. I was hoping the voice control one was going to be reduced as well, buf it seems they're not worth the extra?
Do you know when the new one is due out?

If you decide you really want voice control but don't want to pay extra you can use the app (I know it's on iOS not sure about Android) which is free.
