NUS extra card isnt accepted proof to get an amazon student account. You either need an ac.uk email addy, or proof of enrolement on a current course
Sorry, I only answered your question and I didnt think you had seen the post that said what type of card they meant.
I wouldnt know as I am not a student and I don't want Prime, It was what the user in post 5 said ? Post 7 says leave the ac.uk box empty?I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. Ok, have you inquired about this or you just presume this is the case? If they have changed their rules in the last 2 weeks, then I'm sorry for the misinformation. It worked for me.0 -
I asked whether nus extra card was proof enough about 6m ago and was told no. So you arent a student, have got an nus extra card and have used it to get an amazon student account within last 2wks. If so, ill try again0

from T&Cs
Enrolling in Amazon Student Without a Recognised E-mail Address
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/feature.html?docId=1000741813
If you are 18 or over and able to provide proof of enrolment in at least one course at a university or college located in the UK, you may be eligible to enrol in Amazon Student through an alternative process.
To provide proof of age and enrolment, please send an e-mail to amazon-student-verification@amazon.co.uk from the e-mail address associated with your Amazon.co.uk account.
In the message, include a scan, photo or screenshot of one of the following:
• A valid NUS Extra or NUS Apprentice Extra card (must show your name, institution, and date of expiry).
• A proof of student status letter (must be printed on official institution headed paper and include student name and address, course details and start date, expected graduation/completion date).
• A tuition bill for the current term (must include institution name, course details and start date, student address).
• A tuition invoice for the current term with your name and your institution’s name on it.
• An official acceptance letter for the upcoming term (must be printed on official institution headed paper and include student name and address, course details and enrolment date, expected graduation/completion date).
If we determine you're eligible, we'll send you a follow-up e-mail within 3-5 business days that contains a link which allows you to complete the sign-up process without an .ac.uk e-mail address. However, you must sign-up for Amazon Student within 14 days of receiving this follow-up e-mail, otherwise you will need to contact Customer Service again to register. By completing this sign-up process, you agree to our Terms and Conditions.
Hope this helps

Is it just me, or is this all even more of a hyped-up pile of junk this year so far?0

I've been on the site a few times, and just can't figure it out. In previous years, there were rows and rows of deals, and you could see what was coming up at what time. Now, there's a right mish mash - lightning deals, black friday fortnight deals, various other deals... anyone got an easy way of looking? I know i can narrow it down by category, but even then it's all over the place. Any tips?0
