NUS extra card isnt accepted proof to get an amazon student account. You either need an ac.uk email addy, or proof of enrolement on a current course

Sorry, I only answered your question and I didnt think you had seen the post that said what type of card they meant.
I wouldnt know as I am not a student and I don't want Prime, It was what the user in post 5 said ? Post 7 says leave the ac.uk box empty?

Ok, have you inquired about this or you just presume this is the case? If they have changed their rules in the last 2 weeks, then I'm sorry for the misinformation. It worked for me.

I asked whether nus extra card was proof enough about 6m ago and was told no. So you arent a student, have got an nus extra card and have used it to get an amazon student account within last 2wks. If so, ill try again

There was a thread on HUKD about this with all explanations. I remeber that I just followed instructions that somebody left. I was also confused about ac. mail so when I was filling up the form, I just ignored that question. I received my card 7 days later. I know for sure that you present your card to Amazon by email and they'll send you confirmation mail that you are accepted.

Think your wrong - my daughter got a nus extra card and got the amazon student account - nothing else was asked of by amazon.

Is it just me, or is this all even more of a hyped-up pile of junk this year so far?

Every year is the same, it's just that, probably, you are becoming a less tolerant of junk
  • I've been on the site a few times, and just can't figure it out. In previous years, there were rows and rows of deals, and you could see what was coming up at what time. Now, there's a right mish mash - lightning deals, black friday fortnight deals, various other deals... anyone got an easy way of looking? I know i can narrow it down by category, but even then it's all over the place. Any tips?
