Tried out the Prime trial a month or so ago but gave up when it refused to cast over googly cast. Unfortunately Amazon will only let you cast prime over their proprietary firestick.

I picked up a couple of dvd boxsets, both knocked down to almost half price, & more importantly, neither advertised on the black friday deals pages. Only reason I knew about the pricedrop is because I use my basket's save for later feature, & regularly check to see if something I want has become a good deal. Looks a bit like amazon's trying to be sneaky & hiding their better offers.

I have Prime and use chromecast with no problem. But then as a student I get Prime half price, which is absolutely worth it

I was hoping they would do a deal on the Fire Stick (I need another one) and the Echo, but the 'sale' is so hard to navigate I suspect if they were reduced I'd not notice anyway.

I expect the deal on Fire Sticks will happen but later this week. I am hoping for a deal on the basic Amazon Kindle Fire 7 inch - I got mine for £35 in the summer event. I have noticed they have had a different special on Amazon products (paperwhite, fire HD6 etc) over the last few days.

I did get one genuinely good deal on an anglepoise lamp at the start of the sale. It was very very well hidden.

Bushmills whiskey hard to find in shops and rarely reduced where it is stocked- got a litre of black bush for £24 delivered bargain!!! Well actually got more than one to be fair!!!

If anyone was thinking of getting the Amazon Dash buttons, I've just noticed they're 99p. Might just be for today only or might be part of a longer term Black Friday week discount.

Interestingly, the webpage still says that you get a £4.99 discount after your first order. Let's hope that's true!
