BOS/Halifax online access

Options
I know others here will have Halifax reward and BOS Vantage accounts.

Is it normal to be able to access the BOS account via the Halifax online/mobile apps?

The BOS account was opened yesterday and has appeared on my Halifax online account, I know they are part of the same group but I have a Lloyds account as well which I access separately..

I'm expecting codes to setup BOS online in the post, once setup can I access the BOS account via either Halifax or BOS?

Will I see my Halifax accounts via BOS online account?

They're not just part of the same group. HBOS is the same bank. Halifax and BOS have one combined £75,000 FSCS limit for example.

Ah. Thank you. Ed-1, didn't know they were the same not just connected.

Anyone any experience of using either accounts through either BOS or Halifax online?

You can access all Halifax and BoS accounts through either online login and setup payees, move money, etc. The only thing you have to log into the 'right' account for is to open new accounts. You will need to get separate logins and passwords unless you have a very old account (I think before 2009) in which case the same login will work through either site.

Yes, it is perfectly normal to see both Halifax & BOS on the same log in.

    Makes it easier too IMHO.
