The important thing with a windscreen ticket is not to appeal too early, but don't miss the appeal deadline either. Get the BPA template in blue from the NEWBIES thread off to the scammers around day 25-26 online.
    Noted. Thanks ;)

Had to be, as this phrase was in the first sentence of the second paragraph.
a company as prestigious as UKCP Ltd
Nothing 'serious' could possibly follow that!

  • Hey guys,

Received this today from the merchant, I as the keeper, complained to:
    Dear
    ,

Thank you for your recent email regarding the parking fine you have received at our
store. I am sorry to hear that you have received this.

    The
branch is rented from a private landlord who has an agreement with the company in question to monitor the car park and unfortunately,
do not have any authority over this. The parking company claim that the parking restrictions are clearly signposted around the car park and give clear indication of the restrictions in place.

However, Would you be so kind to send me a visual of your till receipt and your parking ticket to see if i can assist you further with the parking company.

I'm inclined to sit on their invitation until the outcome of the 26 day appeal as to not make things anymore convoluted than they need be.

    Your thoughts?

A landowner cancellation is the sweetest piece of the pie, so I'd be pressing that right away.

If they can't directly assist you in getting this cancelled, ask them for the details of the actual landowner, because that will be you next angle of attack.

  • Thanks for the swift reply!

Will going down their channel not potentially 'confuse' the appeal on/around 26 days though?

If the PPC is told to cancel this by the landowner there's no confusion. Don't overthink this - go for the jugular.

So just go for it :D Even though the transaction isn't in question, it's the "leaving of the site" that is?

If you shopped there then leaving site does no harm to the retailer. Never coming back if they don't help does!
