They are just a cash for gold type company... Pretty much
Me thinks they are having a big push at the moment and trying too hard.
5staff reviews today on glass door , coincidentally....;)
https://www.glassdoor.co.uk/Reviews/Vintage-Cash-Cow-Reviews-E1368221.htm
Then there are the painful you tube reviews where vulnerable people are clearly reading from a script
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hTiFafAhzs4
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=O2JYxMfohbs
And a 9.5 rating on trust pilot......I see they will remove reviews who refer to the price they offered..

One of the co founders of " vintage cash cow " was head of marketing involved with the now discredited cash genie payday loan company.
Also could it be possible they are offering customers discount codes for referrals:whistle:

If you wait long enough it all does come round again doesn't it? I haven't seen as many of the one day sales in hotels, for ages. I had wondered if the rise of the Internet has rather chased these dodgy practices out, but perhaps they have just moved on to other schemes.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. The businesses marketing ploys seem to be that they are relieving you of "clutter" " lying in the back of a drawer" . I've seen this mentioned numerous times .
In this video the man says " they are a business that buy clutter" .its naive and gullible.
You have to give the company your phone number and they say you can write a message telling them what stuff you've got-then they call you back - I've seen elsewhere that they say their target audience are 50+ and middle class but that's certainly not what the videos show.

So like the old fashioned 'knockers' that used to go round knocking on peoples doors and offering cash for any nick nacks they had lying around. The idea being that most people didn't realise that the ugly ornament they inherited from aunty Elsie was actually Meissen - so were happy when the knocker offered them a shilling for the ugly vase just because they fancied buying something to avoid a wasted journey.
In fact in the Lovejoy books where he is a crook rather than a loveable rogue like the TV series portrayed him, he spent time knocking whenever he was short of money and would target older people who needed cash to extend their pension.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. OK So you have asked for peoples opinions. You got them. Just because you don't agree with them?
I take it you are thinking of using them? So lets be completely honest. Companies like this take your items, and resell them for a healthy profit. This is how they make their money. They may or may not offer you a fair price.
Why not just try and sell them yourself?
Mmm Key board warrior ???? Think it more like trying to get publicity for the website??? Not by the Op who I actually think is asking a question.
But jojojo55???? not sure, You joined today just to ask if the low opinions of the company where correct? Coincidence ????
P.s Love the Keyboard warrior? ha ha made me laughHappiness, Health and Wealth in that order please!:A1 -
Slight difference though, jojo was paid to post here, were you?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
