I get little holes in my clothes (no purple ring round them though). I have always assumed they are caused by washing the item with something that has a zip, and the teeth or zipper catch the item... I also hope its not moths...1

Could be carpet beetles? they will eat fabrics and create holes in clothes.0

All of my towels have wee neat holes in them, even the new ones hardy ever used or washed. Some of them have the holes in neat rows, like 3 in a row, all lined up. Is this moths ? How do you get rid of them and how do you stop them coming back ? I keep the towels in a wire tray thingy in the wardrobe.:eek:0

Moths don't attack cotton fibres as far as I know.0

Our problem is towels, cotton towels. Lots of holes. They're kept in the bottom of a wardrobe in wire trays. We have never noticed anything flying around. Is it possible it might be moths doing this ? the holes are biggish, not tiny- like I could poke a finger through easily.0
