Thanks Gunton for raising this issue I have been checking this out for my daughter for next year when she too will be 20 and will in fact be in the same boat. Your having mentioned it now means I can get on and see what she can get now rather than waiting until next year. So thanks fort hat. I think we'll look into the EMA thing too.0

Glad you got the EMA sorted. Be very careful with their definitions of "part-time student" and "part-time job" - best to get them to confirm what they mean in hours.
As to get EMA you need to be on a certain number of hours, sometimes part-time and full-time have different boundaries for different benefits (daft I know)No longer using this account for new posts from 20130
