    When taxes on diesels in city centres, and fuel and road tax all increase, I cant see many people wanting to buy diesel any more. But fair enough, on an older car maybe there's less room to plummet :D

    Only some city centres are introducing diesel specific congestion charges


    If fuel prices go up, diesels are more economical anyway so better placed.


    Road tax usually isn't applied retrospectively.


    I think diesels will fade from the mainstream over time, but I see no reason to think they will plummet in value.


    Doesn't really matter to me anyway. All our cars are petrol
