    Hi all,

They offered me basically same as I had with tethering, use abroad etc and 8gb data for £10 but as i’ve Never used more than 3gb each month for over a year as I have WiFi at home, work, it seemed pointless paying for 8gb so they gave me 4gb for £9 a month. Sadly no discount for loyalty etc, bit disappointing.

I am looking to spend no more than about a tenner, now that my phone contract is running out, in order to save some money!

I am with Tesco currently, I did a quick scan on their website and there is this one which isn't too bad, but maybe there are better elsewhere?

    3GB data
    1000 Minutes
    5000 Text messages
    12 month contract
    £9.00 a month

That depends on the handset you use, if you have a phone that’s capable of VoLTE you have significantly more coverage on Three than you get on Smarty.

Wifi calling and supervoice as they call it will be available in the near future according to a guy on web chat about a week ago

SMARTY do £10/month 4GB data unlimited calls/texts monthly renewal. Also cash credit against next month charge for unused data. So if you use only 3GB your next payment would be £8.75.
Also they are also doing a 3 for 1 month deal at the moment.

SMARTY are on the Three Network, whereas Tesco on the O2 network. I have just referred a couple of people to SMARTY who were on O2, they had to get a unlock code for their phones from their O2 website account which is easy to do if you are outside contract. Not sure if that is the case with Tesco

Called plusnet mobile to get my Daughter setup, and they just put me on 3GB with unlimited calls and txt for only £6.00 which upped my data, and lowered the bill by £1.50... and then said they would do the same for my daughter, which they did... unbeatable !
