£2.82 potted
. I have been getting my toddler to help me pot. She loves it. We have two pots. One for gold and silver and other for coppers. Sadly I have had to crack open my gold this week due to unexpected water bill. However I am going to have a holding pot so I dont end up in this situation again.

Lots of ((hugs)) Helen, but also HUGE congratulations :T
Am really looking forward to the week coming, as my DS arrives t/m from Ibiza for a week's stay. Just hope the weather isn't too dire and we can get out and about a bit. We are all going over to see my DSS and sprogs for dinner t/m evening and have a bit of a family get-together :j
I have potted my usual weekly £10, hoping this coming year I don't have to forward spend most of it before I get to C 2017 :rotfl:
Hope you all have a super week-end

Evening everyone.
I have managed to pot £20 in the last two days. Yesterday was £15 (3 new fivers I've been saving, but have come to realise now they are common I won't be able to afford to save every single one I get) £5 today as it was money owed to me.
Probably won't pot for another week now, but will pop by to keep up with everyone's news.
Have a good weekend everyone.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -

I thought these were very common now, our cash machine at work is all it gives out, the new fivers so very easy to get hold of.0 -
NB. I've finally been able to put ALL TARGETS on for those who asked for them! I've put them in brackets and in red which means they are for SPC 10 (2017) Any others are from members who have either not told me they don't want theirs changed (in which case I'll take them off in time) or from members who still haven't returned to declare!!

A very Good Morning to all our Super Savers!!

But then I thought WTHII and did a run round the websites. Best offer I got was £31 from music magpie. All the sites had good and bad reviews so I went for it. Low and behold message back saying screen was "water logged" so now offer is down to £5. That screen was perfect! But since I'd been planning on dumping the phone, £5 is a good profit. The money hit the bank account yesterday, so into the pot it goes!
Not sure I would have even bothered without this challenge, so big thanks.Miss D M
Hi Miss DM, I'm glad our skilly was here to put you right about which day it was and you can now proceed with the rest of the week, it happens to us all! Well £5 was a whole lot better for your phone than just being binned and gaining you nothing so well done on the £5 pound gained! However, it's marvellous to think that if you'd not joined us on SPC it would be in the bin!! At least you're starting to think a bit more about the possibilities of gaining cash, and for that I'm really chuffed for you!! :j
I hope you had a lovely day on nanny duties, skilly, thoroughly enjoying it too I'm sure. Well potted!
A great amount safe in your pot now, parksandrec!!MrsC....tobe wrote: »I've not been shopping for a few days now, and when I do I always try not to spend coins that are less than £1, and I try to keep my £2 coins too.
Just did a count of potable coins in my purse and it's a measly £2.25 getting potted tonight!
It looks as though you've got your savings off to a fine art, MrsC....tobe, good planning leads to great savings! Remember though...that nothing of what you save is a measly amount! It could make the difference between a £1 or a £10er come the end of the year!!
Your hubby really is slipping a heck of a lot, Vicky, you've got him exactly where you want him! Be sure to keep him there! :rotfl:

I'm glad FBs not so bad now, 32b3, at least it doesn't happen too often. I do believe you have a good point about the new £5ers, oh well, ok for saving rather than spending, not bad eh!! You didn't count your cash, 32b3??! It doesn't matter at all, it's just so good to hear you're shovelling it in so fast that you're unable to!!
Oh strewth Frogletina, yet another with the downside view of the £5ers....any chance of the blighters wearing out any time soon!!I bought a second tin for my precious £2 coinsThis one is also a trolls tin as any other design seems to have become non existent  Christened said tin with 9 x £2 coins especially for my darling Sue who I know feels i'm not trying hard enough if I dont pot at least 2 a week :rotfl:
More like Sue would be shocked if you were to ONLY pot 2 a day!!! This is YOU we're talking about, jakes-mum!!! *Cocks an eyebrow* Well done with your new pot....I think! Certainly a well spotted 20p!!
Very many congratulations to you Helen!!! :j:T:j After working so hard you thoroughly deserve that reward after all the hard work it took, so very well done indeed! Thanks so much for sharing your news with your family here at SPC!!I wouldn't be a bit surprised if your DGD was looking down and thoroughly cheering you on either!! :A
From all you've told us Helen, it sounds as though your Granddad was extremely happy and very well blessed throughout his life.....especially in having you as a DGD!! Very wise with the use of your holding pot, it'll keep you from erring that way! {{{{hugs}}}} of joy for you this round Helen!
WOOO-HAY Dizzy Imp, washkill it is and a lot better in your pot than hubby's pocket!!!!
Well done on the £2, swimminginaseaofdebt and here's hoping those 3 £5ers can end up in your pot!!
Well done on the savings, indigowarrior! I'm pleased you had your savings to fall back on for the water bill, but don't forget.....the holding pot!!!
Don't worry siju, we'll still be here when you return to tell us of all the £££££s you've saved!!
I'm so happy that your DS is coming here for a visit this time, Lynne, and really hope the weather will be kind to you. I wouldn't bank on it but you never know! Have a really lovely family meal!Ah, nearly forgot...that's another £10er well saved!!:j
Hi ETO and fantastic savings with having potted all 4 £5ers!! :dance:I'm so chuffed for you! Don't worry, I'm a once a week saver too, but we do what we're able. Have a good week!
Hi LadyCoupon, I've only seen one of the new £5ers so far but then I'm only able to go shopping once a week so maybe that accounts for it. Obviously it depends on how much shopping one does, how many shops one goes into etc.
Have a really wonderful weekend, SPCers. Save as well as you're able!Sue xx
