I have been kept very busy this last week. Travelling to my DD's tonight to celebrate her 25th birthday - can't believe it! Going out to a dance tomorrow night, so looking forward to collapsing on Sunday and doing nothing :T

I have £3.49 to pot today. Have a lovely weekend everyone.

I paid for my £2.50 dance class with a £10 last night and she only had change to give me back. She apologised profusely but I told her it really didn’t matter!
I held onto the £1’s (as I always do until the end of the month) but potted £4something in silver - woo!

Here I am, still potting quietly away, managing an average of £20 per week so far, it would have been a lot more but I've had to buy a new cooker and a new bedroom carpet (after tripping over it and hurting myself)We're off to Scotland at the end of the month, a gift to ourselves for out 45th Wedding Anniversary, big comedown from the 2 weeks in the Dominican Republic for our 40th! Hope everyone's ok and Good Morning to all.

Where is everyone :eek: its less than a month to go, we always pick up post wise near opening day! come back everyone!

DH went to the pub last night and brought me back £1.85, I said 'wheres the rest??' and he said 'I was using my change to buy more pints' :eek: WHAT??? he is getting very bolshy lately, trying to hold onto his change and now using his change to buy stuff!! I shall have to get that kind of mentality out of him sharpish! my pots need feeding :rotfl: (p.s he doesn't just give me his change, I do swap it for notes so he doesn't really have any reason not to hand it over )

Its absolutely tipping it down this morning so I am in no hurry to find a reason to leave the house, think my post can wait till monday! Have a fabulous saturday all and I hope your day will be more interesting than mine which will be filled with ironing

Sorry I haven't posted in an age. It's been a difficult couple of months and head has been all over the place.
Trying to keep up with the £2 coins but not sure how I have done with the rest.
Never mind - this is my first year so hopefully it will mean I will work harder next year to beat my final total

Just withdrew £260 from sales on eB*y which count towards my sealed pot total, and still have other items to sell. Quite chuffed with that tbh.

Hey Everyone...

Jakes-Mum....It's strange, I lived in Orlando many many Years ago and worked for SeaWorld and I think I only visited Disney once....and even then it was only Animal Kingdom I think....But a few years ago I started watching Disney Vloggers on YouTube and it completely inspired me....I know this sounds strange but it changed my life completely....before then I felt like I didn't have anything to look forward to and now I have a trip to Disneyland Paris for Halloween this Year...one in January and the big trip to Orlando in December next Year....And this Challenge has been instrumental in helping me to save as well...

Anyway...enough of my rambling...

I managed to Pot some Gold this afternoon....I think it was about £9....And I am fairly sure I have a nice crisp new £10 Note that I can Pot tomorrow....So I am really looking forward to that....

JakesMum it is very quiet around here.
I hope everyone remembers to come back and post on potting day.I am planning to take the morning off especially to count money and read posts.I actually think Pot Opening Day should be declared a national holiday :j :money:
Well,now I have posted,got to find something to pot :eek:.When I drag myself of this extremely very comfortable sofa,I will pot £20 I am expecting to be paid for a one-off job I did,last minute,today.(Potting money before I get it-that sounds like a slippery slope :eek::eek:).
