Had to smile at the carboot on Sunday, a lady was selling two of those pot teramundi style money boxes, she said she wanted a pound each as she was sure she'd put a £1 con in each to shaft them off then her kids hadn't bothered with them. I didn't haggle as she said the coin was in them and they both rattled so I paid the £2 and took them both thinking they'd come in for another year. Got home and decided to use a plastic store card to wriggle the coins out as if they did contain any they'd be old style ones. Each pot contained £3! A £1 and a £2 coin in each pot so in total I'm £4 in profit. I'll change the coins to new ones and repot them in this years tin.

Hi everyone

I've managed to put about $1000 in my pot, it would have been more but I went to the show for the first time and had a lot of fun. It's nice knowing that I'm not just wasting the money that would have went on my credit card. This way it will go towards something useful.

Hello at last Sealed Potters!! I do hope everyone is well. I haven't been at all well lately, in fact I've been quite rough.:( I've had so many epileptic seizures, and as they calmed down.. I had terrible pains with one of my molar teeth, I've had many problems with it recently but this time it was severe and I had to have a root canal fitting!! It was so very painful and I'm sure it was that which started another bout of seizures! Dentist told me it would be about 3 days to calm down - the gum area did but the actual tooth was and still is agony to touch, eat with or...clean! :eek: Back again yesterday and apparently I've got an abscess underneath it!!! I'm on strong antibiotics and really hope they soon kick in. Add to all that, the birth of our FIRST GREAT GRANDCHILD is imminent!!!! :j DGD has been induced but has been sent down town by hospital staff to try to speed the process up!!!!! :eek::eek: She's with her DH and my DD but I'm shocked as I thought they would have needed to be monitoring her!

Well that's my news and the reasons why I haven't been here on SPC with you, sorry folks but I just couldn't think of it.

BTW Hubby was given new 2 of the new plastic £10ers yesterday and there as 'orrible as the £5ers!!!! :mad:

*Slowly Hobbling Back In*....

I have missed you ALL so much!! I'm afraid things have been hugely up and down this Year again....fortunately *touch wood* no deaths this Year but still very difficult with finances and mostly with health problems....work has also been up and down but very much up at the moment...and I'm trying to build up my Private Practice...that's going slowly....

Still...I'm alive and relatively well....my Family are doing well....and I'm happy....although somewhat busy right now...but that's not a bad thing at all!

Sue...I'm so sorry to hear about your Bereavement and about the recent troubles with your health...please don't worry about us AT ALL...come back when you are able....Thinking of you at this tough time... xXx

Jakes-Mum....It sounds like you had an awesome Holiday...I've booked to go to Disneyworld and Universal in December next Year....And I cannot wait!! Did you do Universal as well? I am so looking forward to the Harry Potter stuff that they have there now....
