A few more quid potted this week, including the £5.70 I had ready to pay for the Severn Bridge crossing, having forgotten I'd already paid on the crossing from England to Wales! Sometimes a bit of scattiness/bonkersness can be beneficial :)
Sorry to hear of your bereavement Sue. We were talking about some of our older lost loved ones at a family get together this evening. It's nice to keep their memories alive by reminiscing. Hopefully you will get plenty of time to do that with your family.
Have a great rest of Bank Holiday weekend everyone.

  • Threw whatever change was in my purse into the pot today - don't think it was much and I didn't count but every little helps. At the rate I'm going I'll be lucky to have £10 in there by Christmas!

6p roadkill today whilst out shopping. Getting more and more confident about picking it up - I spotted the 5p while walking at the top of the aisle so rushed down to get it :D

An excellent booty then Bubbs and a brilliant total of £40 or thereabouts!!! :j Fantastic work on 2 amazing booties you could say!!! ;)

Wow what a bargain with the Prosecco Frogletina, an excellent bargain!! :dance:Re the ABCD parts froglet, I always pot what I've saved on bargains etc that is my simple way of putting what I think you mean but.... that's from a simple person, so to speak!

TheCatsandDogsMother congratulations on such fantastic news!!!!! :T :j VERY WELL DONE on completely paying off your CC!!! Full steam ahead with potting, potting.... More potting now!!!!!!!!!

The weekend was a quiet one for T & I too, 32b3, but it was beautiful weather for catching up in the garden and some relaxing in the sun for us so we put it to good use. Quiet or not... We both saved, and well too!!!

Very many thanks for the lovely words, Antomac, yes, it's always wonderful to keep their memories alive. I used to send him many photos every week and it's so hard to not think "ah that would be a lovely one for him"! Then the realisation kicks in and it's hard, but... time's a great healer as we all know. I'm just so grateful to have had him all these years, especially after talking to a neighbour this morning and hearing how her Brother killed himself 20 years ago through depression, it made me realise how fortune I was! :)Great saving Ant!!!

YAY DancingUnicorn!!!!! :T :j You painted a wonderful picture about going after that 5p :rotfl: at a girl, you're learning fast!!!!! Keep in mind that whatever you save for Christmas.... it's cash you wouldn't have had if you hadn't saved!! :D

YAY to you too MrsShazbat as your Quidco cash has mounted up brilliantly!!! :j
Late or not Lynne, at least that £10er is in your pot!! Just as well as your holiday is only a while away!! At least that'll help make up for not having BH Monday off!!! ;)

Cor wasn't it a gorgeous Bank Holiday Dragon Lily, such a change for working folk!! :grinheart Ooooh your holiday destination sounds beautiful! If you're not back on here before you go then have a fantastic time doing very little!!!!!

Another £20 into the pot and great going it was!!!!! :j

Enjoy a really good week, folks. :j Keep feeding those pots!!! :D
