Hi again Potters!! :hello: I hope you've all had a good week and will really enjoy the weekend. For all those who aren't well or who are low in spirits, take great care of yourselves and.....get well soon! :grinheart

Been a bit quiet lately but potted £2.50 today.

We all get quiet times donkids22, it's natural so don't worry about them and just pot when you're able. You've potted £2.50 which is very good indeed!

An excellent find mossy! If the youngsters are going to abandon it then why don't we pick it up – after all – somebody has to!!

It seems there is conflicting advice about the £1s etc, Westie, as Jo Blogs saw a link elsewhere on MSE saying that only banks that folk banked with would swap them after October. Personally, I think we're all far happier in getting rid of them within a definite safe time.

Hi there MLE007! You're doing so very well with your potting and I'd imagine you're really chuffed with yourself, and rightly so!!

I've had a bit of problem where my sealed pot is concerned as I've had work done in the house and I hadn't been out to the bank. I'd already opened the tin to get out the pound coins and old five pound notes.

I do know how much I owe the sealed pot but it doesn't seem right to go the cashpoint and withdraw as much as I need just to put it in the pot so at the moment I've just got details of it on Ynab (my budgeting app) so it's in a virtual pot.

I will keep adding to my sealed pot as before but might end up at the end of the year just adding the virtual pot money to my figures.

Worry no more Frogletina! You'd already saved that money in your pot so please pop it on your siggy as there's absolutely no reason it can't be included with the rest in November! As my 1st post on Page 1 explains, I'd far sooner members use their cash at times such as yours. You're always an excellent potter so please declare ALL your cash!! Happy saving to you!

WOW that's amazing news mrs-moneypenny!!!! :jThough - you left it THAT LONG before checking! Still, at least the cash is safe and sound now!

Those are very good rules that you've laid down, Saver-upper, you stand far more chance of keeping a very tidy house that way, so well done! A fantastic find with your box of money and what you've done with it...with your Facebook sale also!! :T Yes, of course you can include the £1 a day challenge with SPC in November!

Rubbish few days for potting ... all my change seemed to get swallowed up, even the bits I'd earmarked for the pot. Put about a £1 in today is all ...

Please don't worry about how much or how little you're able to pot, Money Rollercoaster. I'm only able to pot one day a week and there are many others like us. ;) Pot when you're able and be proud that at least it's not wasted. The main thing is......you're saving so be thrilled to bits with the £1 you managed to pot!! Well done on the £5er!! :j

Excellent potting LeaLea, you are doing just great!!

It is so very good to see you Helen, I was really starting to get concerned about you and wondered if you were having a bad spell. Still, you sound as though you're doing the very best that's possible and I am thrilled to bits to hear that you've got a Therapist and good friends to help you and see you through it, so much to be said for both! Good to hear you're still saving too! That should help put a smile on your face! My very best wishes to you Helen along with loving {{{{hugs}}}} xxx :kisses3:

You having been slapdash, siju, I find it hard to believe! I take your point though and so long as you're saving then you've much to be pleased with. You have a lovely weekend too!

Very good potting Florence!! :D

Brilliant work Pennydreams3!! :jPatience won through!! ;)

Well done you as well Dragon Lily!! :D

Not forgetting you either Chutney!! ;)

Well done as always 32b3! I hope you've had a really lovely time (we won't mention the weather apart from yesterday) and a good break from work. I still haven't heard back from FB that the engineers have fixed the problems but I'll let you'll know as soon as I do.

After shopping for the week another £20 safely potted!

Have a brilliant weekend, folks, and keep filling those pots well!!! :D

• Hi, I'll tiptoe in very quietly to say I potted the huge amount of ......... 30p this week.

I think I'll have to reduce my target of £250 - no way I'm going to achieve that this year xx

DreamerHelen - many gentle hugs at this time.

Potting slowed down over the past couple of weeks. DH and I went to visit my bestie in Dubai and this week back at work has been frantic with two courses and two parents' evenings. Phew!!

However, potting has recommenced today with another £3 in the pot! :j :j

Evening

Great potting Sue. The FB thing is a nuisance isn;t it. I have taken he opportunity to not move much this week :D

Anything potted is more than nothing potted and all the p's become pounds if you just add a few each day/week.

£2.16 potted today.

• Hi there
Am posting to confess opening my pot.
Mum took a tumble on Friday and I had to open the pot to get change for the hospital carparks. Thanks to this challenge I had a stash of coins available and didn't have to stop somewhere on route to make change. Also big thank you to the ambulance folk and the staff and doctors at Watford General for taking such good care of mum.
Off to build an emergency stash of coins (lesson learned) and then start to feed the pig again.
Take care Miss DM
