Paying store credit with credit card

in Credit cards
Hi all. I owe some money on my Very account which is coming to the end of the "buy now pay later" period but I'm not quite in a position to pay it. I've had a new credit card with 0% on purchases and balance transfers to pay for it but I was wondering which way to do it. Do I need to call up Barclaycard and request a balance transfer or do I just go on to my Very account online and pay for it with the card like a purchase? Anyone else been in this position?
Thanks in advance

Their website says they take credit cards so just log into your account and pay off the balance.0

I don't have a Very account, but a quick check on their website shows the following...My Account You can make a payment to your Very Account by logging into My Account and choosing the “Make a Payment” option. We accept payment by both credit and debit cards. Please allow 24 hours for your payment to show on your Very account. You will receive confirmation of your payment via email shortly after.0

Thanks for the replies guys but I probably should have been clearer. What I meant was if I pay the balance with a credit card will I get the 12 months 0% period that the card offers? Does it count as a purchase or a balance transfer? I don't want to pay it with a card for barclaycard to slap on a load of interest at the end of the month and then say I should have done a balance transfer.0

It will be a purchase. Balance transfers are only from credit card to another.0

It will be classed as a purchase, prob better than having a BT anyway as you won't have to pay a BT fee.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Budgeting & Bank Accounts, Credit Cards, Credit File & Ratings and Energy boards.
