Great news on the weight loss, hope the mystery shops go well and are paid for quickly:D

  • Thank you Maddie and Dolly!

I fear I may not be paid for one of the shops, I have a feeling I didn't get the right paperwork from the shop. The instructions were a bit vague but after reading them several times, I think they wanted something different to what I actually have. The other one went fine though and I have already uploaded the reports.

I have so much energy today! I have been walking at speeds I haven't reached for 20 years at least. I went for a 45 min walk this morning and really got my heart rate up, then raced around town getting things done. My legs feel all springy and light. It must be psychosomatic because I can't see that losing 6 pounds would have much that effect when I am carrying so much extra weight...
  • Hopefully you will get paid for both.

Ah that's brilliant you are feeling more sprightly MMT, that will definitely help in the future with your weightloss.

  • Aren't you doing well! Brilliant stuff - and feeling so different could be as simple as feeling that you're doing something positive to change things for the better making you feel lighter, if you know what I mean.

Fingers crossed that other mystery shop pays up OK.

  • Thank you all for popping by! No word on whether I'll be paid for both shops, I expect I'll hear in the next week or so.

I'm getting some work done on the laptop this morning. It's funny how it goes - the more I do, the more I can do if that makes sense. If I have only two things to do in a day, I feel like I need a lie down and may not even complete both. If I have 25 things to do, I get them all done. I'm sure it's all in my head! :o

I think you may be right EssexH, I do feel like I am taking care of myself much more than I was, which has made me quite positive. Things are going well in all areas and I am getting a lot more work that I expected.

I have damaged cartilage in my knees and have been advised not to run or do anything that will put excess strain on them, especially while I am carrying so much extra weight. Swimming was recommended but chlorine makes me feel ill and the only pool here is in the expensive gym. The Dr told me that I would be fine to do a lot of walking because you keep one foot on the ground the whole time, and it doesn't put pressure on your joints the way running does. At this time in my life, I need to make sure I am not damaging my joints further, I don't want to have to use a cane or walker when I'm older. I will look into the app though, maybe it can be applied to walking as well as running.

    Hi Misty!

Thank you for the shout out in your diary xx

Wow you are sounding so positive - I can positively feel the vibes coming off the page... well laptop!!:)

Well done on the weight loss - I need to find a bit of your motivation to lose some weight too and I definitely hope you get those two mystery shops sorted.

If you do plan 25 things to get done in a day (way too much in my opinion!:rotfl:) make sure there's a load of nice things in there too xx

  • Morning Misty,

Well done on the weight loss, you're oozing positivity which is fantastic.

I agree with Smolly, if you do decide to do 25 things in a day please make sure you add some nice things in there too.
