Definitely make sure the air freshener finds its way back Misty. I hate those things - and don;'t even get my started on those nasty freestanding things that "puff" a nauseating smelling blast of air freshener out every few minutes...it's taken me 6 flipping years but FINALLY I've got the office free of them!
You're doing brilliantly well with your weight - and it's interesting you saying about your tastes changing too - because I almost never eat things like ready meals, on the very rare occasion I do end up with something like that I find them FAR too salty. I use a pinch of salt here and there in cooking, but never season at table, and generally speaking I guess I eat a lot less than most people without even thinking about it.
Sounds like you need to be starting to say gentle "no"'s to the time-thieves - or at least "I won;t have time to do that tomorrow but can probably make time for it sometime early next week if that helps?" to start getting across that your time has value, too.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thank you EssexH, I'm not bad at saying no but at the moment some of the things can't be done by anyone else in the family because of their time commitments, so I am grinning and bearing it for the moment. They all know though that I will not be doing any further things unless I am already in the area and will not be making special trips.
Unfortunately my rushing around without rest has taken it's toll and I have caught a stomach bug. I feel achy, can't eat and am having a hard time drinking enough water to stay hydrated. On the bright side, I'm sure it will help with the weight loss!
I've volunteered to be a guinea pig for a life coach who is just getting back into doing it. I don't know what to expect but there are still some major changes that need to take place in my life and if she can help, I will be forever grateful. :j0 -
Well done on the weight loss Misty - unfortunately as you're feeling a bit off that figure may increase!! Hope you're feeling better soon xx
The life coach sounds so exciting - if she's just getting back into doing it she will obviously have experience, rather than someone who is just stepping into it for the first time. I'm sure it will be beneficial.
And great news on the mystery shop payouts!
Take care and hope you have a restful Sunday xxLBM Jul 16 £26,823.83, Nov 16 £27,961.98, Dec 16 £26,977.66, Jan 17 £26,884.76

Thank you Smolly! I am dosed up with flu meds so am able to function but my brain is a bit foggy. Unfortunately there are a few errands I need to do this morning but this afternoon I will sit and drink tea and watch telly or something.
I did a phone survey a few months ago and I can't remember who it was with, but I was supposed to get £25 for it and have not heard a word nor received any payment. I'm not even sure where to start looking to chase it up, I think it was one of the normal survey companies (not mystery shopping) but I am now registered with so many, I'm not sure where to start or what to do. I will log into all the ones I can remember to make sure it's not in my account waiting for me to request a payout, aside from that, how do you all keep track?
No idea where I am with my weight. I know I've lost something because I have that hollow feeling from not eating anything proper for the last couple of days and feel a bit dehydrated. I also know that as soon as I'm better and start eating and drinking a lot more, most of what I have lost in the last few days will come back on. In any case I'm not weighing myself until next week as I don't want to be excited to find I've lost 5 lbs and then find out I've gained 4 back next week. Logically it shouldn't matter but any gains at the moment would be bad for my motivation.0 -
Oh I am the same with the surveys, I don't usually keep a track but maybe I should start.
I did a phone one recently with IPSOS so maybe you could start with them if you are a member? Not sure I have done any phone surveys with any of the other ones.
Hope you are feeling better.

Eurgh to you being poorly - hope you're feeling better now!
I use my diary on here to keep a rough track on the surveys, but I don't do the ones that pay out that sort of level anyway. The ones like Pinecone that pay in real-life cash, and Populus, where each one is worth more, if I notice something hasn't tracked in a normal timescale I'll add a note that it might need chasing. I always keep the emails from the ones I'm successful with, too. I've just got an archive on my email account where I shove them all. Confirmations of payouts etc go in there too.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thank you both, I tried to log into the Ipsos website but am not sure I actually signed up in the first place. It sounded familiar but none of my emails were recognised. It was a phone interview about dehumidifiers if that rings a bell with anyone... I do so many surveys that I really should be keeping track. It's going to annoy me if I can't figure out where that £25 is!!!
I'm still sick, worse now than before. Not doing much else than sitting around drinking tea and looking for ways to earn money on t'internet. I gave in and weighed myself and was 1 lb more than before I became ill, so that blows my I'm-sure-I'm-losing-weight theory right out of the water. I will try to stay off the scales until I'm better and back in a routine.0 -
Just email them all & I'm sure they will get back to you.
See I was ill on Saturday & I lost 3lbs & I am back up again too. So annoying!
Hopefully that will come off again soon.

I'm recovering a bit, but am still too tired to do much. Lots of NSDs and catching up on paperwork, aside from that I've been cuddling with my pup on the sofa, watching telly and drinking tea. It's nice to have an excuse to do it, normally even if I had nothing else to do, I would feel guilty watching tv during the daytime.
I stupidly stepped on the scale and am down 4 lbs but I know it's not an accurate reading so am not adjusting my sig until things are back to normal.
I hope everyone is well xx0 -
You need to take the time to relax & recuperate so enjoy it.
