Just painted my nails with the Nails Inc Lexington Street polish I got as a freebie last week.

    .

Saw the Glamour mag in Sainsburys yesterday but the only had one colour choice - a burgundy one - so I passed. Not that I need any more nail colour!

Repainted my toe nails yesterday with OPI My Address is Hollywood. Was going to bin this but it looks lovely on my toes if not a bit summery.

  • I've been naughty and have a couple of INs that I did and do not need but were oh so pretty. Both from Topshop, I love their makeup it seems really good quality and formulations for the prices. There's loads of pretty sparkly things in the range for Christmas too. I feel a bit guilty though as trying to be good with money. I don't have debts but I desperately need to build savings and I don't earn enough to be buying...

1x sparkly mono eyeshadow. So pretty light beige with green and gold glitter flecks in it
1x dark browny pink lipstick really like it when swatched

A TA last night : OPI Espresso Your Style. A fave. Hardly any product was coming off on the brush. I have a back up bottle but the top was firmly wedged on. Was not in the mood to mess with it. Instead painted my nails with OPI Did you ear about Van Gogh?

    I have a uu

Benefit Benetint 4ml - I have used Benetint for years an years, it used to be a lot more pigmented and now I need to apply twice to get the same flush. The one thing I don't like about it is how the brush picks up foundation when I apply it and then makes the product in the bottle cloudy. I have another 4ml bottle in the stash but for now have replaced with a Soap & Glory Cheekmate which I love but has been discontinued.

  • Another couple of UU's:

Johnsons Baby Bath 300ml WMBA - Bought this a while back as I was recommended it for my sensitive skin. Was okay, but didn't love the scent.

Tresemme Moisture Shine Conditioner WMBA - This was travel sized version that I picked up in an airport when travelling with work (which I haven't done for over 2 years now!) I have another travel size in my stash, but whilst I like the smell, I don't think I'd buy again because I think it would upset my sensitive skin if I used it all the time.

I'm washing my hair everyday at the moment, as it gets so greasy at the roots if I don't. But the rest of the my hair (bar the roots) is soooo dry!! Going to try and wash it every other day and use some dry shampoo in between. I hate the feel of 'second day' hair. Does anyone have any tips or advise?

a tip I like (think it was posted on here a few months ago) is to work dry shampoo into your hair before you go to bed. Then it can absorb the grease overnight and you wake up with fresher hair. I’ve been doing this when needed, and it does work well. Also saves messing around in the morning :)

My hair has got a bit unbalanced the last couple of days too with the cold weather – hair mask needed on the ends I think!
