    What?
Because there are extreme right parties in Europe, France bans the full face veil or Hungary puts up fences at its borders, I am not supposed to comment on the rise of hate crime in the UK?

you are perfectly entitled to note that alleged hate crimes have risen from a very low base and you are perfectly entitled to say that we are one of the least racist countries in the whole : however, you won't want to say that I'm sure.
  • They are all hoping to see you.

Meanwhile, Toastie, an ICM poll today shows Labour 16% behind the Tories and a BMG one shows them 14% behind, on 27 and 28% respectively.

So you now have to add opinion poll companies to the long, long list of people you hate!

I voted remain and would vote the same again, but I agree now we have voted to leave the sooner we leave the better. Not sure I'm going to be proved wrong though if if I'm not are you brexiters going to apologize.

I voted remain and haven't changed my view. Brexit is a sad prospect on so many levels.

TM's embarrassing episode in Washington (and her dithering over criticising the travel ban) is only a taste of how isolated the UK will be post-Brexit.

Having said that, I have no doubt that it will happen, and I suppose it must, if only to show the leavers what being out of the EU really entails.

I hope I'm wrong, but I think Brexit will be a disaster for the UK.

We see a lot of angry shouting about Brexit, with neither side seemingly being willing to accept any other views.

Has anyone, since voting, changed their view, be it from Leave to Remain, or Remain to Leave? Can you explain why?

EDIT: The 2nd question should be "Yes, I'm now against it".

My view has changed. At the time I was moderately for it, now I'm definitely for it! Mainly as its becoming clearer what we're leaving...

Whether you like it or not Trump is the elected President. The role of the UK PM is to build a working relationship. Time and a place to express opinions. Be a sad day when TM resorts to Twitter and Facebook, and not the official channels.

It's clearly luck of the draw I would agree.

But it sounds like you are suggesting an universal principle.

There are at least 3 billion people living on what we would describe as absolute poverty incomes.

If just 10% of these were to move to Europe following your principle, then you realise that the European standard of living is well and truly stuffed?

I'm not sure how sustainable this would be, even if the morality is right.

most people stay put even if they are poor

this is evidenced by the fact that even in totally free movement areas like the EU only some 5% of poles moved out of Poland

So your figure of 3 billion people moving, is closer to 5% of 3 billion = 150 million people and there is no reason for them to all come to the UK there are plenty of other rich countries so its more likely these 150 million would spread among countries with a population of 1.5 billion or more

    I
How can it be right that people can come to the UK and be given social housing when there are people who have been on the waiting list for years?

there shouldn't be social housing just like there are no 'social supermarkets' where the poor can go and buy food for 50p to the £1
