My account has also matured but with no interest yet. Nationwide proud to be different.
  • No interest either. Also cannot open another one online as it's saying I already hold another account. Whilst true, this other account a joint one with my wife as first named account holder, so I think I should be able to open another one in my name only

1st December was meant to change from Flexclusive Regular Saver, it hasn't yet, and put in the extra £500 for December, and now sits at £6500 balance, no interest either yet, guess that might happen tonight, and I might gain 5p from the extra £500 in moving.

Well I've now got an account which is showing as an Flexclusive Saver Issue8.

But with no interest.....so much for it being added on the 30th!!

Just called Nationwide. They recognise that there is a problem with the interest not being paid, but don't yet know what the problem is. It is being looked into but customer service rep could not give timescale for resolution. He suggested call back after weekend if it hasn't been sorted by then.

Thanks for this, account has been downgraded but no interest, have sent them a message then thought I'd check on here.
Have also just opened another Flex Regular Saver ..
  • Same for me, account has been downgraded but not interest yet. I have applied to open a new FRS and my application is in process. Guess it's just a case of "watch this space".
  • i think you will find that interest is paid at the end of dec on this account

How do you work that out?

The T&Cs state: "12. Interest is calculated daily and paid annually on anniversary of account opening and on closure of the account."

interesting. when i logged in earlier this morning, it said next to my account that interest was next due at 31 december. so there's a mistake somewhere.

I think that is correct for the new account type.

    Maybe the problem is………….
My account opened 01/12/2015. Online showed interest due 30 11/2016, but PDF from my original application says maturity is 01/12/2016. I would have expected interest date and maturity date to match.
