            Hi GingerBob,
I've (sort of) been expecting you.
Your posts do make me smile
I'm sure they will have told me somewhere and I'm cool with it so no worries from me.
I know we don't share the same view on CRAs but that's cool too, this world would be a boring place if we were all the same I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Budgeting & Bank Accounts, Credit Cards, Credit File & Ratings and Energy boards. Ah, but there's an inconsistency here.
The OP is concerned that BC are not reporting him (I'd be over the moon, myself) because he hasn't consented to them doing so, and quite right too. But the water company have taken it upon themselves to report you without any consent anyway. What if you didn't want them to report you?0

I believe very few lenders started using CRAs until the late 1990s, early 2000s.
When you took out your CC with BC, there was no monthly update sent to a CRA by lenders in general.
Some of my current accounts have only been reporting recently, now Dwr Cymru (Welsh Water) has also started.
Did you ever get a copy of your CR from all 3 CRAs? You are able to report any queries direct to the CRAs yourself.
Completely pointless note from me but Noddle have records of my oldest CC starting in August 2002Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness: People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet. 0

Was that the account opening date?
Have they been reporting every month since then?
One of my current accounts is showing as opening date 27/04/1993. Yes account opening date
I only started using Noddle last year and their records go back to October 2010 for that card but this seems to be a uniform 6 year cut off so whether it was reported before that I don't knowSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness: People are rich because they spend less money.
