Have just been declined credit so registered with Noddle to check my score.
Having read a few posts on the forum, it sounds like Noddle arent the most accurate credit score site, but on my report there were several accounts linked to me for a person I dont know, and they had several missed payments, and also several address that I have never had any links too.
I disputed them all with noddle.
Is there a better way to get them off my account? I think it was these that were affecting my credit score.

Have you checked with the other CRAs?

Just applied for my Experian one.
Joined this sites credit club and that suggested I had an excellent credit score but the credit score on noddle was average.
Noddle declined all disputes, guess thats unsurprising considering they dont have the best reputation.0 -
You also need the Equifax report. That can be done via Clearscore free.
ETA - don't take any notice of the 'score', it means nothing.
Lenders don't see it, they will just look at the data held on it and while there is a link with another profile that has missed/late payments you are not going to get lending.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Budgeting & Bank Accounts, Credit Cards, Credit File & Ratings and Energy boards. Thanks for the info.
Do you know how I can get the erroneous info removed from my credit reports?0 -
I would check if it's on the other CRs first.
Checking on Noddle's FAQ's, it says they will dispute with the company who provided the data on your behalf, so if they have declined it, I would probably go direct to the company that is sending the incorrect data.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Budgeting & Bank Accounts, Credit Cards, Credit File & Ratings and Energy boards.
