Not such good news for our pensioners living abroad. My friends state pensions have fallen like a stone. They retired to live in Italy (husband is Italian) after working here for 40 years.

Their choice to leave the UK. Currencies have always fluctuated. There's no certainty for the Euro either. Even the creator believes it's doomed in it's present form.

No it doesn't say "we will". It says "let us give" which means what it means so no amount of semantic backtracking actually changes that.

it means whatever you want it to mean, as with the whole arguement.

The major currencies are on a death spiral.

On the race to the bottom, there will be panic flight to safety.

What if Brexit triggers more defections, and Euro collapses?

If Trump gets elected, and start talking 5 cent on the dollar for Treasury Bills?

Suddenly, GBP1=EUR3, and skiing in Courchevel is dirt cheap.
All the riffraff will be there too, bum. I'll check out Aspen, if it gets to GBP1=USD3.

Words mean what they absolutely mean, otherwise "let's give" can mean "let's not give", which is obvious nonsense.
