I am thank you - aside from the cold that I took to Scotland and brought home again - no point in leaving it there as Pippi had an identical matching one! with the hammering my immune system will have taken it was pretty inevitable I was going to get *something* I think, so it could be a lot worse!

    Glad to hear it!! :D

List pretty much annhilated - just two items left on there to do and one of those I can do tomorrow easily enough - the other was a second bit of exercise and I scrapped that as I was coughing a lot. Did go for a run though - it's feeling SO much better than it was! Parkrun is firmly back in my sights again I reckon! Just loving it now - 1.7 miles done in 20 minutes today. Happy with that and that figure gives me something to work from.

Walked into town this morning as I needed to get that other presscription refund done - that all sorted, popped into a favourite charity shop and nabbed a pair of cropped trousers for next summer for £2.99. Also shopped about a bit for deodorant and found that Savers have my favourite Mitchum for about as cheap as I've ever found it. Also nipped into Boots and made use of some advantage card offers - 50 points on womens deodorant (bought a can of Sure for £1) 50 points on Essentials face wipes (£1 a pack and my preferred ones anyway) and 75 points on dental (75p for a tube of boots own brand toothpaste) - £2.75 spent and £1.75 back in points - super impressed with that!

EH glad to hear you enjoyed weekend away, boo to germs. Sounds like you have more energy now you are getting your iron.

Are there any follow ups to your hospital visit ? Or is it sorted now the problem ? I was very ananemic for many years but once problem sorted it was like a new lease of life.

Yep - energy levels are currently through the roof which is a bit of a novelty :D - plus getting masses more sleep than I was as well which also helps! I've got treatment for the root cause of the problem but won't know how that's working for a while yet - the hope is that it will make a difference to some of the problems I was having almost immediately though so fingers crossed for that... I had my first monitoring blood test yesterday - results should be tomorrow hopefully - so need to sort out a GP appointment to discuss, but as the hospital never did get round to sending my notes through I'm not sure how productive that's going to be... then I'll have a further scan plus a consultant appointment back at the hospital in three months I think it is at which point we should also find out if the treatment is having an effect.

Today will not be a NSD as we're going to an event at the rugby club tonight so there will be food and drink spent on. Think we're planning to ditch the car there and collect in the morning if we can - although that might translate to "drop it at the end of our road and collect from there in the morning" instead...All being well we'll be able to car-share tomorrow though one way or the other as with me going to the gym there's not much sense in doing otherwise.

Ooh Starnac you're back! :T Beanie it was really good fun - although very odd hearing a game of rugby played so quietly compared to a normal match! Good fun though - couple of drinks (which MrEH paid for) and a tasty beef stew for tea (which MrEH paid for... :D) and some good pals there too! :T

Car sharing today has happened and my cold feels as though it's receding a bit at least, so I'll do the gym tonight as planned. Got my new (slightly adjusted) programme drawn up and everything. MrEH is rugby training tonight too so I'll leave him and the car at the club and then walk home from there. Food is all in hand - and is mostly about using stuff up - so an omelette for him when he gets home, and a rice bowl for me with assorted veggies and some sausages from the freezer. also got a list started of food stuff to cover the weekend and what needs to be got out of the freezer - and a reminder that the turkish flatbreads I bought at lunchtime need to go INTO the freezer as well.

CC month finishes tomorrow and I'm planning on heading to the M&S outlet on Sunday to try to get some more jeans and that elusive extra pair of work trousers. I'm just about managing with a single pair, plus skirts at the moment, but a second pair would definitely increase flexibility. (And decrease cold knees). My size 14's REALLY don't fit any more. :o Also need to potentially get into the main store to get some more basic tops as again, I have a lot that are now hanging off me. I DO have a list though and there IS a structure to what I'm buying. Go me. :T:D

Also waiting for the new CC month to book some travel stuff - trains for Manchester in January, and Accommodation for Norwich in February. we bottled out of waiting when we realised there was a £36 train that would get MrEH to Doncaster when we go away at Christmas - given the choice of a 7 hour drive to Glasgow starting when he gets home that day, and advancing him as far North as that for 7pm, and I pick him up from there, £36 felt like a small price to pay so he booked that yesterday. Means the solo driving is all being done on really good roads too in case the weather turns, and should see us in Glasgow ahead of midnight that night, all being well.
