  • Hey Redo thanks for popping by! See I WOULD have had enough eggs for both - thankfully not a regular cake baker though - I'll do something occasionally but generally I'm far more likely to go for something savoury. The chicken & cauli thing was ace - to the extent that I'm REALLY looking forward to a repeat performance tonight with the other half of it. :D I'm now stuck on the ideaof finding more tasty recipes that would work for midweek - inspired by the success of this one! The frittata was lovely too - must make a mental note of what I threw into it as it was a good one! :T

Prolific cashed out as I reached the £10 level - should just be enough to cover the fees and still leave me with over the tenner coming in I think. Half tempted by a TCB cashout too as I've got over £5 in personal, rather than joint, stuff on there. Hmmm. Nothing on OnePoll this morning and nothing in from any of the others either - annoying as Populus is nearly at cashout - 4 more points needed and that'll be £50 winging my way. Hoping it's just the end of the summer lull and things will pick up again.

Need to stop at the cashpoint later so I have money for the weekend - don't want to be left running about looking for somewhere with money tomorrow. Still can't make up my mind whether to drive up early for the airshow arrivals day tomorrow or whether to leave it until later - the weather looks to be improving a bit though so may wait and see what turns up today and make a last minute decision on it this evening. It's only £5 and I can even pay on the gate so it is quite tempting.

Thanks all! weather was completely mixed - got utterly soaked on Friday, and a bit damp the other two days, but we still had a brilliant time! SO many friends caught up with, the flying displays were great, and all in all it was a really nice show. :D Masses of photos to go through now but I've got all winter to sort them out now!

£10.10 from Prolific arrived over the weekend so I've transferred that to the 0% card this morning. Signature updated to reflect. Hoping the fact that I got a study to do when I logged in first thing this morning means that things are picking up a bit on there too - fingers crossed!

Ended up sharing my hotel room with a friend on Saturday night as they were stuck without accommodation when another friend who they were meant to be staying with was rushed into hospital. As a result my breakfast was paid for both days at the show - I met the (small) extra cost on the room so all good there! Actually came back still with more than half of the cash I'd withdrawn for the weekend in my purse too. :T

Need to sit down at lunchtime and meal plan for the week and also put together a shopping list for this evening. I know we have the rest of the eggs to use, plus there is still beetroot, potatoes and the remainder of the slightly elderly carrots so I think a frittata one day again and some roast veggies as well - will probably do those with a pack of the chicken portions and that will then cover two meals. Got 4 days to cover as we're out on Friday so just one more meal to work out.

Other than the standard shopping etc no planned spendiness until the weekend now. I do need to sit down and work out the clothes I need to add but it will be a couple of weeks yet before I hit the shops I think so time to plan on that one. After next weekend life gets a lot quieter for a few months so that helps! :T

Ooh - forgot - MrEH went into ThaT supermarkeT yesterday to get his paper and checked the yellow stickers - 12 crumpets for 30p. I think he said 10 bagels for 20p. And a big chunk of Jarlsberg cheese for £1.30 as well - excellent work on his part there, he can stay if he's going to find bargains like that. We're still eating our way through the rolls he got for pennies last weekend for lunches!

  • Stripes you just keep your mitts off my cheese! :D I'll see what bargainous and tasty cheesy goodness I can find to bring with me when I come up! :T

RT I've had a couple of decent cheese bargains recently - there was a lump of Wensleydale for about 67p a few weeks back as well! :D

Shopping last night came to £27.32 which I'm happy enough with. Masses of veg in there, plus a big pack of loo rolls which will keep us going for a few months too.
Prolific still being anything but - currently showing 70p payable and no studies today so far.

Food all planned out for the week and no further supermarket trips needed until Friday when I'll need to get odds and ends for camping at the weekend. All under control, I think!
