'Fanks all! Was a lovely weekend with very "un-Bank-Holidayish" weather, we thought - wall to wall sunshine, we're not complaining! :D

Prolific kindly dropped £10.68 into my Paypal over the weekend so I've transferred that out to the bank and straight off to the 0% card this morning. Signature updated. :T

    - Got a £2 survey from Populus so have done that and am only 4 points away from payout there now - that will be a nice lump to go off the card when I get there!
    - Also just done a 10p OnePoll - I'm going to try to remember to open that up first thing each morning this week and keep an eye on getting stuff done on there as it appears - I'm at £24.80 so over half way to a payout, it takes SO long though!
    - Nothing with PA at the moment today.
    - Tempted to have a dabble with Valued Opinions again even if just to get to the payout level for a voucher. problem is I often find their stuff takes a lot of time for the reward given.
    - Just had a YouGov survey and am just short of half way to payout on there.

Bank looks OK and I should get paid on Thursday anyway. Yay.
CC money shuffle got done at the end of last week.
Money for my weekend in Northern Ireland for the Portrush Airshow (one of my absolute favourites of the year!) is sitting in the airshow account - paying slightly more for accommodation for the Saturday night this year as we all agreed that it was just sensible for us all to stay in the same place so I didn't have to mess about getting cabs back after a LOT of beer. :D

All looking good - we seized the chance of being in the car for a long trip on Thursday night to talk through some financial stuff - notably what we want to move forward with next with the works to the flat - and we're both agreed that it's the rest of the windows that still need doing. I'll get in contact with the Brian the Window Man to pop round at some stage and quote us properly for that - MrEH is in favour of getting the balcony door and surround and the bedroom door onto the balcony done at the same time which WILL increase the costs quite a bit, but I do agree with him it makes sense.

I also need to sit down and properly write out my diary plans for the next few weeks I think as there still seems to be a fair bit going on - Portrush this week, Scampton next, then we have a weekend in Norfolk (just camping, phew says the bank balance!) and there's stuff coming up through October & November, too. :T

    Plenty going on! :j

I've started doing a few surveys again - just yougov (up to 700 points so it'll be a while...) and Prolific (do you pay fees for a Paypal payout? I signed up for Circle instead cos it said it wanted some ludicrous percentage as fees to do Paypal but maybe that's just me!) Slowly getting there... Had £25 from Prolific last week :money:

Trying sw@gbucks again but it's already annoying me :o Halfway to £5 but as soon as I get there I'm stopping again! :o :rotfl:

Can't do OnePoll on an android phone apparently, most vexing!
  • Everything looking good EH! I agree the weather was unusual for a BH weekend! Nice though :D

    Have a lovely day x

Ooh nice Prolificking there Cheery - yes I do just swallow the fee on the PayPal thing I must admit as I was reluctant to give my bank details to another organisation - probably silly but I'd not even heard of Circle before so... :o

Still CBA with Swagbucks - I feel no shame! :D

Hidden very nice indeed - no complaints here! :T

Made a decision that with PA I'll continue as I am with cashing out once I get to a figure where I'll clear £10 after fees, but that I'll only cash out on a Thursday from here on, so however much I have above £10 by a Thursday will be it. No idea why I picked a Thursday but it's as good a day as any! :rotfl:

Shopping list has been written up and a sort of rough meal plan thrown together -
Tonight: Stir fried pork, veg & noodles
Wednesday: couscous with assorted veggie bits, and squeaky-cheese
Thursday: baked tatties with bolognese sauce that I *think* I have in the freezer... If not I'll improvise. (No, I'm not totally sure how you improvise bolognese sauce either, but we'll see!)
I'm not worrying unduly about Friday or the weekend as I'm away and MrEH is almost certain to base his eating around the chinese takeaway and the rugby club, at a guess.

I need to work on getting my bullet-ish journal back in use again I think - it did work really well for me until things got hectic and I stopped making time to update it. Bad EH. Made a start by getting my upcoming plans for the rest of the year in there - will probably add my weekly planner page back in to cover this week and next - got random odds and ends that need booking/sorting so a proper written down plan/list might help!

I did have a moment of thinking the same about Circle but then I thought of the extra few pence in the house fund and just gave all my details away :o :rotfl:

Did come through pretty quickly though :j :D

Improvising bog sauce - simples if you have lump and onion hating childrens. Mince, garlic powder, onion powder, mixed herbs, passata, beef stock cube, squirt of value katchup. No chopping, just tipping. I use the pressure cooker and give it half an hour.
