I have to confess I have definitely enjoyed some things about masks - mostly involving sticking my tongue out at annoying people 😂😂9
-
Ha ha - Cheery that one would have never occured to me!
I've discovered the added benefit of a warm face when walking on the blustery bridge from the train station to the office. I don't bother to remove the mask after the train journey as it has to go back on to enter the office!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! I heard someone say on the radio months ago that their dream had been to go into a bank wearing a mask!Debt free and Keeping on Track4

😂😂 It did occur to me some months ago when I had to go into the building society branch that I’d never expected to find myself walking in to that environment wearing a mask!Really interesting reading people’s different experiences relating to working over the past couple of years - and I’m definitely glad that I’m far from the only one for whom social distancing is a dream come true! Even just generally out and about I’ve been quietly enjoying the fact that covid now means you can legitimately step off the pavement to avoid people you don’t like the look of without seeming rude! 😂
Had a lovely afternoon/evening at the beer festival yesterday although I am feeling a bit second hand today. Still, planning a completely lazy day so no big issue there. MrEH has disappeared off to rugby and I’m thoroughly enjoying some peace and quiet. It was glorious to see so many friends yesterday but I’m still finding that level of “social” quite hard work.Had a decent paying Prolific study yesterday morning which has already paid up.Prolific: £8.65 paid/£1.47 pending
OnePoll: 1180 points - nearly to the half way point. The broadband switched over yesterday and at the moment we can’t make the network extender work - hoping MrEH can sort it tomorrow otherwise it might complicate things for him WFH next week - although it may yet be that the desktop computer will connect ok directly to the new router, he’ll need to check. Shell have emailed to say they want their router and kit back so I’ll have a look to see if so we still have its box. If not they’ll need to send me a label. It also looks like our SOLR transfer from UP to EDF is finally there - apparently we formally go on supply with EDF as of Monday (which I’m pretty sure is nonsense as we’ve been on supply with them since September). Their correspondence does suggest that we may get the benefit of the UP rates for a bit longer though, so fingers crossed…🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

The expression is definitely better than the reality SA! 😆
I finally reached a point in early afternoon where it felt like food might stay where I put it, so had a cautious slice of toast, and added a second one half an hour later. I’ve spent most of the day on the sofa which to be honest was exactly what was required - my Garmin confirms that in spite of being apparently asleep for a decent time last night, my “body battery” is at rock bottom, which explains why I’ve felt sleepy for a good chunk of the day. Just had a rather lovely jacket with beans and cheese for tea too and am feeling a lot more human - remaining feelings of grimness are down to the evil cold from hell now I think.Got round to watching “Everyone’s Talking About Jamie” this afternoon too - what a lovely feelgood film!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Think at times especially this time of year that we forget to look after ourselves when we need to,and our bodies have to remind us. A perfect afternoon just relaxing and eating toast, just what you needed. Don’t rush things EH put yourself first.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.004

I just can’t do it anymore, I can’t bear a hangover. It’s a disproportionate punishment-to-enjoyment ratio I find now.Debt Jan 2017 = £42kMay 2022 = £15k4
