Sounds like the ingredients for a frittata to me!

    I also thought of frittata.

Frittata was also my first thought but two eggs between two people would make it a bit of a poor one! :rotfl: It's rare that my planning lets me down to quite this extent, I confess! :rotfl:

Shame you're not closer - we've got 14 eggs in the kitchen and no desire for a frittata :rotfl:
  • Ooh, wedges and shakshuka would definitely be a delicious option!

I'm fairly sure it won't be just me who wants to know what you had in the end... I did belatedly think if you had rice you could do egg fried rice and save the potatoes for another day.

Cheery Yes if only we were! :rotfl:

SQ & Luc It was indeed wedges and shakshuka and it went down so far I was told that I was cooking it again, so all good! :T

HH never did get the chance to take a proper look at the flooring samples - oh well, they'll keep!

Lovely weekend away in Manchester catching up with lots of pals - not the cheapest but all in the budget so all good there.

Been offered a space in a Tipi at Beautiful Days festival in August which we're trying to decide if we can make work financially - would be great to go - the friends who've invited us are really good ones so we need to try and work it through.

Lee-The-Sparky and his electrician's mate turned up this morning as planned and we assume all is going well as we've not heard anything from them since. Looks like it will be a case of them doing some of the job today, then needing to come back and do the rest when the parts are in, which hopefully shouldn't be too long.

Got a basic meal plan worked out which saves me having to shop tonight which is handy - think I'll need to go after work tomorrow though. We bought a reduced loaf of bread in ThaT supermarkeT on Thursday night which did toast for Breakfast on friday then found its way into the freezer, and will sort us out for sandwiches this week - also got a pack of rolls for 9p I think it was so lunches are sorted for a bit! :T
