And yes, the Hebrides is well worth a visit - can't wait for our next trip over!
Oh I will definitely look into the MSE energy club, thank you. Hebrides is on my list, might look into it for Summer 20 so I may ask for some advice when I'm looking into it a little more, if you don't mind of course.Change the way you see things and the things you see will change0 -
Absolutely no problem DFD - ask away when the time is right!

Jobs for today are mostly financially based:
- Regular saver now has its interest added so can be sorted, namely new account opened as soon as the current one reverts to its new name, and proceeds (less £250 for opening the new one with) transferred to long term savings
- Note that the new transfer will need to be set up once I have account details
- Credit Card money shuffle - might manage to get the bulk of this done at lunchtime as I have the statement with me.
- Top up my Oyster card ready for travel on Sunday
Already reminded MrEH about his car MoT test coming up due next month - he's arranged for a friend who is a mechanic with an MoT license to take it on Saturday, all being well we should have her back on Tuesday but can use mine in the interim so all good.
Purse is currently running on empty so I need to remember to get to the cashpoint later so I have money for swimming tomorrow. The Gym had no £1 coins last night so I got £3 change all in 50p/20p's! :rotfl: Bank looks fine though.
Food tonight is "something with eggs" I think - mine will probably feature them poached, as part of a rice bowl, most likely with lentils, broccoli, tomatoes and whatever else needs using up. MrEH will undoubtedly opt for an omelette when he gets home from rugby training but it'll have to be a cheese one as there's no mushrooms! Having said that I think there's a tray pepper lurking in the fridge so he could have that.
Al's Super 6 not much use this week - assuming those beetroot will be the pre cooked vinegary ones anyway. Lil's not looking much better on Pick of the week either - the apples are an OK deal but to be honest if that's all I'm driving across there for it's not worth it. I've got a useful bunch of Sainsbugs vouchers so may opt for another week shopping there I think. Farmers market on Saturday too so need to think what the freezer might want.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Bless you WF - that's really kind! It's a beautiful place!Aldi's beetroot is pre packed.Vaccum packed even.

Good info - thanks Beanie. I've had a pre-cooked pack from Lidl before and it was definitely in vinegar so I'd just assumed!
Mind I still prefer it raw so I can do what I want with it.
Cashpoint visited at lunch, CC money shuffle maths done, transfers still need sorting yet though.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Is that your NW one? Mine isn't showing the interest added yet and it's holding me up as I want to transfer that money out to somewhere with a higher interest and then open another one for this year.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

Yep - NW. Remember it comes down to the exact date you opened it - mine was the 16th, but it was the 17th when everything finally showed as it should, and only then when I twigged that it was still showing the "Reg Saver" name as I'd renamed it as that! Doh!
CC money shuffle all done - I'll just need to check the figures once the transfers are all showing to the card but my dodgy maths suggests it should be correct.
Couple of random financial wins this week - £10 earned through doing a small extra job, and £26 back from our old electricity supplier - that one actually came through just before Christmas but I missed it at the time
. The £10 has gone to my savings tin at home and the £26 across to the Internet Saver account.
Other jobs today:
- Meal Plan done
-Shopping list done
- Shopping done - £19 in T's, £12 in Al's (Al's was mostly dishwasher tablets, peanut & coconut butter, and a packet of posh pasta that was an impulse buy that I only bought because it looked interesting!
)
- Washing sorted
- Dishwasher emptied
Went swimming as planned this morning - 43 minutes - 50 lengths which is a personal best distance for me - VERY pleased and can definitely feel myself getting stronger in the pool. I'm never going to be a massively fast swimmer as my style is awful and I can't do crawl, but plan is to improve on that a bit over time if I can.
Got a few more odd jobs around the house I want to get done before MrEH gets home in an hour so will take 10 to catch up on a few other diaries and then crack on!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

EH well done on the swimming you are faster than me , it takes me about 50 mins for 50 lengths! I have a confession I have stalked you and found your blog and your amazing photos , you are obviously very good with a camera.

All stalkers to blog (& instagram!) most welcome Cumbria - and thank you for your lovely comment! I do love my photography! I would love to get back to blogging more regularly but it's finding the time.
My target now with the swimming will be to improve the time a little - If I get my time for 50 lengths down to sub 40 minutes then I'll start to increase the distance again.

I stalked too Cumbria
More so on Insta because I could follow and 'like' things. I didn't go too far back liking things though. That might be too stalkerish :rotfl:
